Paid to use the venue
Paid to use the venue. Paid for food for 60 people about 40 people ate and there wasn’t enough food for everyone. Very disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend using this pub.

Reasonable price, staff are welcoming. Went for breakfast, the only let down was the portion sizes & the slightly burnt toast.
If you are going for drinks you may be ok but stay away from the food. Ordered the shepherds pie which came with peas and gravy. It was the most pathetic excuse for a shepherds pie. The meat was less than a quart of the dish. It barely covered the base, you could see the base. Their were dollops of mash which didn't even cover the dish. You could see the base of the dish which is how much you get for your money. It was also vile as was the gravy. Very chemically. I did not eat it. To their credit the peas were good but obviously they would've been frozen.
I live locally so want to support the local pub but you won't get many returning customers if this is the standard of your food.
On a separate note, you need to sort out your fans which are too loud at anti social hours. I've tolerated it for ages but it will require a call to the council if it continues to disturb my sleep.
