I don’t know why this shows as a 4.5 star. I have been shopping with Melissa and Sam since the van delivery in Newport and can’t think of anything that they could do that would improve my shopping experience. It’s a 5 star for me every time.

I love the Refill Barn. I am really into sustainability and eco ways of shopping. You can take containers to fill up with all your cleaning needs. Plus they have freshly baked and frozen foods. The staff are friendly. Their coffee, cookies and cakes are delicious. Do visit it will be worth it.

Such a brilliant range of refillable, organic and ethical products covering everything from dry goods, to cleaning products and even a great selection of beauty products and gifts.

It’s such a joy to have a coffee whilst I do my shopping and have a lovely chat with the staff.

The miso banana bread is also 10/10

A committed and uncompromising stockist of ethical products. Bring your own containers and curiosity, I always find something I didn’t know I needed.

Their refill shop has just got better & better been with them since Covid and their weekly van delivery.
The selection of eating goods (which is what I mainly shop for) is second to none, if you would like a certain item their will try to get sample for trying. Their coffee is lovely and converted me to using oat milk.
The whole set up is lovely

Amazing refill shop - huge variety of products, I always find all the ingredients I need!
Also, have to mention the delicious oat latte and banana bread - a must have at every visit!

Absolutely wonderful shop. The team were helpful, patient and so welcoming. Even the other customers were welcoming and gave brilliant recommendations on their favourite cake! I had miso banana loaf and it was a delight. Savoury, yet sweet with a great banana loaf texture, with rich chocolate chips throughout. Delicious! Weighing your jars before filling was very easy and the utensils and environment were spotlessly clean. Prices were reasonable and clear for each product. I appreciated being able to buy coffee beans, freshly ground to order. Will be back soon with my refill army. (and lots of tins and jars!)

Lovely shop on the grounds of a farm/stables and the shop has a warm welcome & vibe, with easy-to-weigh & product location set-up. Very clean & well-looked after.
I particularly love their toiletry and home cleaning options, the interesting sweet treats section & we can get all the staples plus some unusual fare there & sustainable home-cleaning tools too. Lovely gift ideas also!
Nice areas (one upstairs, one ground floor) for freshly ground coffee in decent mugs & good tunes :-)

We are so happy shopping at the refill barn. Low waste shopping is made simple here with fantastic varied products and as always a warm welcome.

Nicely surprised with the good selection of dried food available in this wee shop, and at reasonable price. Had to try their coffee, and i was not disappointed. Will definitely be back!

I love popping in to the Refill Barn to top up my store cupboard and discover more sustainable options. It's such a lovely environment and Melissa and Sam are extremely welcoming and helpful. New products are added regularly which makes a visit more interesting - I love the sourdough too!

We're using The Refill Barn regularly now for loads of our shopping; dry goods, laundry & bathroom stuff and frozen foods too. We've got used to keeping any containers / ice cream tubs etc and it's great to just fill them up with whatever we need. We've been really pleased with the price of basic goods; spaghetti, rice, peanut butter, laundry detergent...
Its such a lovely, friendly place and great coffee is served too!

Many thanks to Melissa and Sam! My wish to shop plastic is made easy because of them, with the added bonus of a beautiful shopping space. So much better than the usual supermarket experience! And you can have a lovely cuppa and a chat. Can't get better than that!

Easy parking right outside the door, a very friendly welcome and an ever expanding range of produce. From handy frozen fruit and veg to sweet chocolate treats, baking products to cleaning products and all without the nasty single use plastic packaging of course! Oh, and you can meet your friends for coffee and cake too! Love it :)

Melissa & Sam have creatively curated just what we need - a one stop local shop where we can reliably buy products as sustainably as poss.

Beautiful shop with a cafe where you can have a cup of artisan coffee & tea with delicious treats at the cafe. You can find responsibly sourced plastic free shopping all the way, from 🥐 croissant to children’s craft kits! This shop is a weekly must visit for me and I think for many others!
