Sean and Michael called us when they were en route and arrived promptly. As this job entailed removing several items of furniture from a 5th floor flat via lifts, they quickly established a plan to complete the task. The whole job was completed in less than 30 minutes. We found both Sean and Michael to be friendly and helpful throughout. A credit to The Rubbish Removers. Being able to pay by card was extremely helpful. Highly recommend this company.

A quality service. A courtesy call before arrival and a thoroughly professional team attended to remove old furniture, garden and general waste. I could not have been happier with the service and would happily use them again if needed.

My sister had died and I needed to sort out removing items from her house, which to be honest wasn't the best environment to work in. She was a heavy smoker. I was upset and Richard was so lovely with me. The lads did a fantastic job and it's such a weight off my mind. Thanks again Richard

I needed 19 bags of waste removed . The price was reasonable , and it was collected within the time frame the next day . The lads who came , were polite and friendly , and only took a few minutes to do the job . I got a proper receipt and have no complaints at all . In my view , good honest reliable company with very reasonable prices .

Excellent service. I’ve only once needed to use a rubbish removal company before. However, I had a lot more ‘stuff’ this time!
It’s also really concerning about fly-tipping, so I wanted to ensure I went with a company that were reliable.
I put in a quote for my garage to be cleared as I’m moving house soon. Communication with the company was excellent and prompt.
Overall the process was quick, the gentlemen who came were lovely and when they’d cleared the garage, they even swept it for me.
I’ll definitely use them again. Really impressed.

The Rubbish Removers came to my property today to dismantle and remove a large, collapsing greenhouse. I was honestly expecting a huge mess and shards of glass everywhere – but the two men who turned up were a credit to the company. They worked quickly, quietly, and professionally, and left the area spotless without a single piece of broken glass left behind. I was genuinely impressed.

They were polite, and clearly experienced in dealing with awkward and dangerous jobs. The price I was quoted was extremely fair – especially considering the care needed to safely remove glass panels. Instead of hiring a skip for the rest of my outbuilding clear-out, I’ll definitely be calling them back.

To anyone reading the negative reviews – take them with a pinch of salt. My experience couldn't have been smoother. Great service, great value, and a job extremely well done. Thank you!

Wow what a shock. The Rubbish Removers advertise that they work in the North West, Manchester & Yorkshire so I called for a quote re removal of a 3 seater sofa with a Lancaster postcode (quite clearly the North West). The quote came in at £850!!!!! After I had picked myself up off the floor, I was told that they had to arrange for a special team to go to that area. Please don't believe their advertising as they don't do the areas they profess to cover.

Only accept a quote off them if they attend.

Booked after being provided with a quote from photos of my parents garden which needed clearing. Told that they would call 30 minutes prior to arrival.

Called 15 minutes before (I live 30 minutes away with traffic). When I arrived and let them in the first thing they said was I’ll need to ring the office this hasn’t been priced right. The driver told me there was more than the photos showed and would speak to the office. The other bloke with him asked me if I was clearing the property to rent out. I told him it was my parent’s home and they had moved out, he then looked a little sheepish and left. The driver came back and said it was double and showed me the price plus VAT. He then said he would not be able to do it now and would be on Wednesday. When I said that the new price was unaffordable he left.

The price new was over £1,100. Which was half what BHF quoted for clearing the entire house and garden.

I spoke to the office twice. First as soon as he was gone back to the office and the second time after he had returned. The first call I was told the increase was due to access and the volume of waste. The seconds felt very much like the office was trying to get a sale and was told that the time it would take to clear was not impacting on the price (which doesn’t match the statement about the price being related to the access). The amount I could afford was what they had quoted. If the team had said they could only take what was in the photos that would have been fine but what I was told a new price or nothing. It felt very much like I was being held to ransom. When I said I was using alternatives I was told to be wary of cheaper company's as they just dump it. However on the first call I was told their cost was higher as they sort the waste to ensure more is recycled.

The whole experience was unnecessarily stressful and I am now left with finding an alternative company who have given a guide price off the photos but will be attending to see what they can clear that is in my budget.

My advice, don’t use them if you are a woman. After looking at the other negative reviews it seems women have had similar experiences. I regret not checking this before.

Arrived on time, hardworking and friendly. Cleared all the rubbish away in just half an hour. Even brushed up afterwards. Would recommend to anyone, Peter and Stuart.

I'm absolutely thrilled with the service provided by Mike and John! They successfully removed my enormous broken fridge from my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier. Their professionalism, efficiency, and friendly demeanor made the process a breeze. Five stars all the way!

I booked some furniture removal from a storage unit as I was downsizing. The team arrived & immediately began complaining that by chance another company was there emptying another unit, meaning we needed to share the 1 lift. I showed the team what needed to be cleared, they complained yet again that not all items were on the photographs or job brief, eg the sofa, I explained that I had spoken to the manager about the sofa as I’d asked for it to be taken to charity, and that it needed to be taken. They also then refused to take an additional desk that I had to be fair forgotten to mention, when I asked them to take it I was told by Josh ‘I don’t care if you’re the F*ing customer you don’t tell me what to do, you are disrespecting me’. I was at this point alone with the team & felt threatened & very anxious. I don’t believe asking for an extra item should warrant that sort of behavior or response. I spoke to the manager who said they should take the items, I was then told I’d be charged extra despite being sworn at & spoken to like that. I refused to pay any additional charges. After the team left, I broke down in tears as I was so upset by the experience, I would never use this company again or recommend them to anyone.

Excellent company, had quite a lot of rubbish to clear after my brother passed away.came about 4 times, all the teams were great and cleared everything I wanted including the shed. Well done. Will certainly recommend the rubbish removers to anyone who needs their services.

I arranged for Rubbish Removers to collect Furniture / effects from my Fathers Flat they arrived on time nothing was to much trouble greatly assisting in a reducing a big task that be set me moved all the furniture / effects that actually took two loads !! This company is very rare quality today in their service very professional I Superb service .
