Our vision in setting up The Rustic Merchant was to provide excellent quality, hand forged products at affordable prices, to make your renovation project a success. We are constantly expanding our range, but if there is something in particular you are looking for, please get in touch and we will do our best to help. Blacksmiths We have spent many years sourcing skilled craftspeople who could not only make, but also understand, traditional ironmongery, with the ability to produce the styles and quality that we required. All our wrought iron products are traditionally made on the anvil and the designs are copies of authentic, traditional items. Our cast iron products are also hand-finished.

Heart candle sconce
The sconces arrived within 3 days of ordering and were well packed … they are beautiful and look exactly as they did on the website . They have finished ofc my fireplace perfectly . Highly recommended and will shop again .

Quick and efficient!
My wife and I had ordered two 8" wall candle holders on the 9th of February and we were so pleased with them that we ordered four more a week later! They were just as described on the website and delivery was very quick on both occasions. We think that they are a very reasonable price and good value for money.

Excellent quality traditional ironmongery and fast delivery
Excellent quality ironmongery and great value for money. I bought two shelf brackets which were beautifully made and felt genuinely traditional. Delivery was quick and free which was a nice bonus. I would happily use The Rustic Merchant again for future projects.

a comprehensive well designed website, easy to find and select items to buy. website clearly shows options and designs with plenty of images and product descriptions. there's a broad selection of styles, sizes etc. ability to create an account when placing an order, which saves info. communication is good, received order confirmation by email, as well as dispatch notification. items received were well packaged and came within a few days. items themselves are exactly as described. so a great customer experience overall. i would certainly return to this seller to buy more later if needed.
