✨ Curly Hair Game-Changer Alert! ✨

I met the wonderful Rebecca from The Solid Bar Company at the Gallagher’s Leadership Scrum 2025, where she was also a winner (legends unite!). She kindly gifted me one of her award-winning solid shampoo and conditioner bars…….and let me tell you, I was skeptical at first.

You see, I have got very naturally curly, dry and porous hair…..and I do not use a hairdryer. My hair routine is as natural as it gets, and the thought of a solid bar lathering up enough to handle these wild curls (or worse…….my son’s gorgeous curly afro!) had me a little nervous.

Fast forward: I have nearly used the whole bar and I am converted. 🙌

✨ Shampoo bar: Lathers beautifully. None of that scratchy, draggy feel…….just soft, natural foam with a fresh, subtle scent.

✨ Conditioner bar: Magic. I mean it. Once it’s on, a comb glides through like butter. Detangles effortlessly, which is rare in my world.

✨ Results: Curl definition. Softness. Shine. I have had multiple comments lately on how shiny my hair looks…..and that never happens!

Bonus points? These bars are natural, sustainable and multi-use (yep……even safe for horses, apparently 🐴). And they last …….though heads up, the shampoo tends to run out a little before the conditioner (not a complaint, just a heads-up……it’s normally the conditioner that always runs out first for me.

We have tried a lot of products over the years, but this one’s going in the permanent rotation. Huge thanks to Rebecca for introducing me to something that actually works and aligns with the way we want to live…….low-waste, natural, effective.

I've used these shampoo bars and conditioner bars for a few weeks now and I love them. They leave my hair full of bounce and shine with a wonderful scent; and a little goes a long way.

Other plus points are: no chemicals, all natural, great for the environment and the pocket!

Wanted to try a shampoo but for ages but was not quite sure which one or even how to use it properly. I emailed The Solid Bar Company for some advice and very speedily the owner responded with a full list of useful pointers for me and my type of hair, she really knows her stuff. (most unusual in this day and age most of the larger companies have limited or useless customer service!) I ended up buying a 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner bar and it has proved to be just what I needed for my hair - quick, easy and leaves my hair full of body and shine!

I bought 2 in one shampoo bar! Wow it is so good! Not only it smells nice, it really washes my hair completely without a need to conditioner. I got really dry hair, surprisingly after using it, my hair is so soft. Best part this bar saves you money! It can be used more than a month!! I love it so much that I don't want to change other shampoo. Best shampoo ever! Strongly recommended it! 😍

She loved it so much, I bought her a second.

I recently purchased the sweet orange luxury shampoo for greasy hair. I did a lot of research into shampoo bars because I've tried so many that have left residue and build up on my hair. I really thought this would be different, sadly it wasn't. I'm so disappointed, I've spent a fortune on shampoo bars that I can only use as a normal soap. I'll stick with lush shampoo bars from now on as these are the only ones that work for me.

Excellent - no reservations, I would (and do) recommend this company to anyone who might be interested in these superb eco personal products!
