BUYER BEWARE

I purchased Bose Sport Earbuds for my wife at Christmas. They will not stay connected to my wife’s phone. After three hours on the phone with Bose I gave up and tried to return them. According to Don at the Source in Bowmanville they can not be exchanged or returned to the Source I have to deal directly with Bose
The Source took $ 243.28 and have washed their hands of the sale which I do not feel is fair.

Worst online shopping experience of the…

Worst online shopping experience of the Holiday Season!!!

Logged into my account which has a CAA card attached to it so I could get a discount. Added my items to the cart and attempted to checkout. Kept getting prompted to enter a delivery address and I did so both manually and via Canada Post selection option. Hit Continue and was brought back to the same page prompting me to enter the address again.

Cleared my browser cache and cookies, tried different devices...same result.

Tried chat support... told me to clear my cache and cookies...when I told them I had, they said to call phone support. Called phone support and they said it was an issue with the items in my cart and that because they were already discounted that it couldn't handle the discount with the CAA card and I should proceed as a Guest user...no CAA discount.

1. Why give an address entry error when that was clearly not the issue.
2. If there is a conflict between discounts. provide a sensible message indicating such.
3. Give your technical support / customer service staff the ability to move orders through via the users account rather than telling the user to login as a Guest as there's no tracking or order history available to them when they do.

This was a super frustrating experience and sucked the holiday cheer right out of me.

Says they ship the item to blame the courier. Purolator never received it so they blatantly lie to you. Won’t cancel the order and issue refund, or offer a replacement item for their own mistake. Order an item as a Christmas gift 2 weeks before Christmas to be told it’ll be 3 weeks pending an investigation into January at this point. They will also say they will update you as things go on, but it took 4 phone calls that I had to make, to find out about a 3 week delay.
Update: they did contact me after a few days through email and ended up shipping a replacement for me.

The Source Kingsway

The Source Kingsway, Edmonton. Continually trying to sell me a new phone when only wanted a cordless charger. Will never buy another phone through Bell, who own The Source, as they refuse to honor my present contract pricing which is really good.
The Source, Fort Saskatchewan. Sales person trying to find the same cordless charger to be "compatible" with my older phone ( as well as trying to sell me new phone). Maybe Bell needs to train their staff better. Talked with a computer whiz who said the only criteria is that it be QI capable, which mine is.
Bell seems to only focus on getting the most money out of it's customers. Customer service be damned.
Only positive is that both employees were very polite

Worst online buying experience ever!

Worst online buying experience ever!! I bought a SONOS soundbar on November 21st with a delivery date of November 28th. Label was created with UPS and even though The Source claims that they 'shipped' the package, UPS says that they do not have the possession of the package yet -- today being December 9th. I have called both sides numerous times and now I find myself in the middle of the 'investigation' as to where the package is. I called three days into the investigation and The Source STILL has to contact UPS on the matter. STIL!! No progress on the matter whatsoever. This is total and absolute madness!

I would not shop there at all.
On Nov 30 ,I was searching for my daughter Xmas present and their website displayed Beats Solo headphones for 99$
I added two on my cart and when I tried to pay it jumped to 249$x2.
They advertised for 99 and were charging me for 249😡.
I tried with different browser since I though May something been cached ,but got the same result .
I took an screenshot which included the date and time .I called the cyst Sercice : which was wasting time . I asked for an email address . She passed me the online customer service email . I hav édentâtes the. Screenshot and explain the scenario.
After two or three days they got back and told me the sale is over .
They never addressed my issue. To me this is misrepresentation or fraud .
U cannot display a price and charge totally something else.
I always thought they are a good company and reliable. Well seems I am wrong.
Pls check and make sure you get what they advertised.

The Source At The Dell Shopping Centre, Delta, BC Is A Bad Place To Shop Or Pick Up Online Orders From

The Source Dell Shopping Centre Location in Delta, BC has very dishonest staff members.
I picked up two online orders at this Dell Shopping Center location.
I made 2 separate online purchases for a dual wifi plug on The Source website. I picked up my first order in store after being notified by email my order was ready for pickup. I went to the Delta store and showed the staff the email notification and picked up my order. I later realized after I got home that the dishonest staff gave me the wrong product I ordered online. I was given a package of two separate wifi plugs instead of 1 dual wifi plug. The dishonest staff had my order number and would of had to manually enter a wrong sku number to give me the wrong product. Very dishonest behavior from the Source staff members. For reasons unknown the Delta , BC staff went above and beyond to give me the wrong product. This was not an honest mistake I am sure of that.

The second order I picked up at the Dell Shopping Centre location a few days later was a problem too. I was lied to by the two staff members telling me my online order was not in their store. I gave them my order number including the email from the Source showing my order was ready for pickup the previous day.
The dishonest staff members kept insisting they were innocent and the order wasn't at their store. It wasn't until I got mad that one of the staff members went into their storage room to retrieve my order. This was 10 minutes after I told them I was in their store to pick up my online order. The staff spent 10 minutes lieing to me making excuses about my online order not being available including blaming their head office.
I don't recommend anyone do business with The Source at the Dell Shopping Centre Delta, BC location. The staff members go out of their way to jerk you around. Avoid that location at all costs.

Matt and Jack at The Source in Midland…

Matt and Jack at The Source in Midland were excellent about taking care of our issue with washed out colouring on our new Acer Aspire 3 product. After listening to what we did to resolve the issue and inspecting the machine itself, they replaced it since we had only made the purchase days before. The new machine has much better colour and picture contrast without the need to try to correct anything. the offer to swap out the machine was actually made right away before inspection as Matt told us, "You shouldn't have to try to correct the issue yourself." Thanks Matt and Jack!

We moved to Strathmore Alberta. Small town national brand I thought would be a good place we could get some help setting up our computer. The young guy was great the woman who claims she was management or something was disappointIng At one point I was going to pack up the computer and take it back .

Still waiting NO RESOLUTION YET (6 WEEK ORDEAL)

Being resolved. The Source has agreed to issue a refund cheque for my purchase. I am to refuse delivery and return to sender whenever it gets here.

I used One4all gift cards to purchase a TV at the Source. These cards are redeemable at a wide variety of vendors, much like having cash, that can be used to buy almost anything.
The Source's website would not facilitate the use of these cards, so I brought them into the store where they were happy to accept them.
Without disclosing the procedure to me, the merchant converted my One4all cards into The Source gift cards. Evidently, the store's payment system is unable to process One4all cards directly. I wasn't informed that this transaction was even taking place. As far as I knew, I was simply using my One4all cards to make the payment. Nevertheless, I have come to find out that My $1400.00 are now locked into the Source. Even if I decided to cancel or return my purchase, I would not be refunded to my original method of payment. I would only receive credit back in form of The Source gift cards; greatly diminishing my purchasing options.
Perhaps none of this would have mattered much if The Source had fulfilled their obligations with my purchase. It has been 11 days since the events described above. Despite claims on the website that I would receive my item in 3 or 4 days, the tracking information shows that the shipping company has not received the package yet. I allowed the expected wait time to pass before trying to contact customer care. My call to the store said there was nothing they could do from store level. Thesource.ca online live chat directed me to email customer care. My email to them has had no reply. I have had several phone calls to customer care representatives, that are evidently working remotely from home. They have all said that the company is just busy and that they have escalated my issue. I understand being busy right now, since today is "Cyber Monday," but I placed this order 11 days ago. My most recent call was last Thursday. The representative claimed to know that my item was now in possession of the shipping company. She explains that the tracking wouldn't update for another 24 hours. That was 4 days ago. Currently, the tracking shows: "Shipper created a label, UPS has not received the package yet."
Although this item is commonly used for entertainment, in my case it is to be used as a computer monitor. I would not be so put out if this was just an item for entertainment, this is my business suffering.
I am posting this to Trustpilot, since the feedback on The Source's website is defaulted to keep only positive reviews top of page.

Product cannot be replaced or refunded.

I bought a new earbud from your online site. Unfortunately, the left piece did not work, I tried to contact the customer care using online Live chat, and a guy name Saif told me to contact the manufacturer to get it replaced. The manufacturer told me "The source" is not their authorized vendor, hence the product cannot be replaced or fixed. What the heck am I supposed to do over her?

Rude employee

Customer service was poor,employee rude.I asked for a bag but was told 25 cents and I know this is policy but was just making @comment that if you spend 450 dollars you should get a bag.Will she said I don’t make the rules.Then annoyingly said you can have one then.I did not accept the bag that was being offered.There’s no such thing as customer service anymore!

The Source dishonest business

From November 8 to 10, 2022, The Source was advertising iPad 9 gen for $399 until November 16, 2022.
On November 11, 2022, I went to the source in Calgary to purchase iPad, but I was told that the price is $419.
Even if I show them a screenshot, they wouldn't honour the price.

The Source is advertising an Apple IPad…

The Source is advertising an Apple IPad Air with wifi & cellular for $399.99 but when I tried to purchase said it was an error and they wouldn’t honour the price. I would question every advertisement this company makes as it’s a bait & switch technique. It also tells you their technical qualifications must be limited if they can’t read equipment specifications correctly for ads. When I asked them to honour the ad, I was given the run around and the person on the chat line basically “hung up” on me

Response from The Source absolutely convinced me to never buy anything from them again…won’t honour the ad, advised I was to read “terms and conditions”, who does that when shopping on line? I will be filing a complaint with Alberta consumer protection….

Horrible over the phone customer service; the agent didn’t even talk to me and they told me they canceled the order (which wasn’t even true) and immediately hung up the phone; would not recommend their phone customer service

I purchased some Tile Pros online and…

I purchased some Tile Pros online and had them picked up in Edmonton. The box was open and I didn’t think much of it as the Tiles were still there. I didn’t try to activate them until more than 3 months later and I couldn’t as they were already used. I tried online chat and called the store and no one was helpful or even tried to listen. They shouldn’t accept back an open box! I called Customer Service and just wanted someone to listen. Jen did! And offered me a little something. I didn’t get the full cost but that’s not the point…someone cared and listened and hopefully the stores will be better educated to not accept open box products like this back. I learned something too. Sharing this so people are aware.

I have purchased airpods from their website, the order seemed to have gone through, the payment went through but I did not receive an order confirmation by email so I contacted customer service right away.

They told me they did not have any recent orders under my name or for this item. The person I chatted with, Edgar, told me it happened sometimes and that I should have my money back between 3-5 days.... So it looks to me like La Source has some cash flow issues, because they captured my payment without having ANY pending orders in their system. This look very illegal to me and a total waste of time for me and an extra 200$+ on my credit card for a period of time.

Not trustworthy.

That pre-authorization normally fall off in 3-5 business day depending on your financial institution. On our end we see it as a failed transaction and as such, did not capture the funds. Do not buy from the source online…

Do not buy from the source online store.

I purchased an apple watch and paid through a guest account. The initial ETA was around 3-4 days after you paid your product, the new ETA is at 10 days! I send in a cancellation request within 30 minutes of their policy time.

At this point; I have not received my confirmation email, nor my purchase history was shown in my account.

Fast forward next day, I called the source, the agent who picked up was unable to solve my problem as she can see there was a cancellation note, but had no idea why the product was still being processed. I requested to speak to the manager, Douglas whom I expect to provide a solution.

I made my purchase and canceled within the time frame and the order was still processed. Douglas who was the manager was rude. Was not very understanding from the customer's perspective. Sometimes all we want is a solution, not your apology. If your system is screwed up, it's not the customer's fault! I followed their process, followed their procedures. And here I am getting screwed by The Source.
