I hit a pothole late the previous night and the AA had left my car, which was non-driveable, at The Tyre Shop in the early hours.
The following day Danny helped me sort the car, even suggesting a local company (Wheelspek-also brilliant) to repair the rim.
Once the rim was repaired and delivered back to Danny, he was able to fit the newly ordered tyre in minutes and got me back on the road same day!

Great service, friendly staff and a good result

I came across a driver in their company van today. For no reason whatsoever he drove aggressively at speed behind me and tailgated in a 30mph zone. He was so close and could have caused an accident. What a disgusting representative of the company. Based on what some reviewers have said regarding staff been racist. I believe that is why he targeted me for no reason. Avoid them at all costs!! Sounds like they also provide poor workmanship noted by other reviewers.

My good expectations of the tyre shop have gone down after my last visit.used these many times with good experiences, and referred my friends and family here. But last week I had 2 new tyres on my fronts,front tracking done and both back wheels off for repairs! Yet no one noticed my front pads were down almost to metal 😡 took my car for mot 3 days later,and failed on front pads.sorry but you would have to be blind not to see the wear of pads while the wheels are off AND up in the air. Not happy at all.

I purchased 2 premium Michelins. Booked the fitting for the following day at the closest garage I could find that could do it on the following day. It was 1 hour away and I had to pay a premium as an extra. I am on holiday and this is an emergency. The rubber of the tyre was separating from the side hence why I needed it done the following day. I traveled to the garage and the tyres were not supplied nor they had any my size. Contacting this lot is impossible. The line just drops and no one speaks to you. You can call the customer service at Halfords but they were useless and very unhelpful. The garage guy genuinely tried to help the best he could but is still had to travel back and go back the following morning. It was very risky but nothing I could do as everywhere else was closed anyway by the time we realised the tyres were not going to be delivered. We had no notification of any sort. Avoid this lot. There literally NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.. NON EXISTENT!

Appalling atmosphere. I came in for some work on my X5, they talk nicely to my face but I could hear them continually use the word P*ki and speak in a disgusting way about other customers. They are all white workers here and clearly do not understand how to live in a mixed group. Would not recommend

Went to thetyreshop in Chingford to have front wheel alignment and a Volvo cabin filter fitted. Reception was friendly and helpful. Waiting area comfortable.
Advised about what alignment needed to be done and a verbal report on tyre wear with no pressure to buy. Although the cabin filter turned out to be a difficult , time consuming job, l was not charged extra.

Great service and price highly recommended.

I cannot rate these guys high enough. Would give 10 stars if possible.
Had a repair done on bodywork at a crap repairer (FMG) who decided to realign my wheels (wasn’t needed) and messed up the steering wheel alignment. The repairer couldn’t get it correct even after 2 attempts, also went to F1 autocentre and they couldn’t get it straight either (was at 10-4pm instead of horizontal). I found ‘The Tyre Shop’ through an Audi TT forum. Barry the manager listened to the backstory and knew exactly what to do before even putting it up on the ramp and even went as far as to check bushes etc. He helped me deal with my insurance company with regards to a report to claim back my outlay. Turned out the engine had to be running to get the steering wheel straight when you hold it. These guys really do know their stuff! Friendly, warm hearted, professional and caring service. Lovely seated waiting area with sofas and free tea, coffee and hot chocolate! What more can you ask for.
A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE GUYS AT THE TYRE SHOP! This will be the only place I ever go to from now on.

I was after a single spacer for my 370z (long story) and didn’t want to pay for a full set. I got in touch with these guys and they managed to sort one out for me at a really fair price, and send it out quickly for me! Thanks again!

I cannot recommend the tyre shop highly enough.All the staff are extremely polite friendly and very helpful. The prices are very reasonable snd the service is first class.
The waiting area is spacious very clean and well set out the reception area is very organised and the staff are friendly very proffessional - faultless.
This is a family business where once you have been once for tyres or a car service you return and recommend to friends and family with confidence. Established honest and highly recommended family business. Brilliant service.

Visited the tyre shop to get to the bottom a balance problem that had started when Volvo Milton Keynes fitted new tyres to my XC60.. (see my detailed review of them if you want to avoid the same problem).. the team at the tyre shop did a very thorough and professional job of diagnosing and fixing the problem and rectifying mistakes that Volvo had made.. The tyre Shop uses the very best Hunter Road force balancing and Hunter Tracking Systems and my car is now driving perfectly again, great service, friendly customer focussed staff, I can’t fault them and well worth the drive from Northants..

Excellent service, found issues with my new tyres that the main dealer were blind to. Very comfortable spacious waiting area, I was seen promptly and everyone seemed to know what they were doing, which is rare these days.

I had an issue with wheel balancing after having the wheels on my Audi RS5 refurbished and new Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tyres fitted. I visited the guys at The Tyre Shop after learning that they have the Hunter Road Force Balancing System installed.

Several issues were soon identified by the machine which, at one point, didn’t look as though it could be rectified! Basically, the readings were way out and it was soon identified that we might not be able to resolve the problem until the engineer working on my car decided to try something else. Kind of ‘thinking outside the box’ ! This moment came when he swapped the tyres around onto different rims before putting them back onto the machine to check if this would get better results. This had a profound effect on the readings which all achieved below the maximum allowable readings.

I have already recommended The Tyre Shop to my friends, its at a handy location nearby the A406 and really easy to get to with ample parking and they always stock the tyres i need so there is no waiting for the tyre i need.

They were the cheapest by far in the area!!

All the staff are friendly and you can chill out and have a laugh while you wait.
