The Under Covers Bookstore snd Cafe

Two stars for responding to my emails.

The Undercovers Bookstore and Cafe
Run by:
DIMCHEVA, Kamelia

- She is the registered Director of this company.

Nationality: Bulgarian.
Country of residence: Spain.

I asked this question on the country she came from, but went silent. So, here it is now for all to read.

I do not think she/they are in the UK at present. It is expensive to live here in the UK than Spain.

Just type in Google: Companies House The Under Covers Bookstore and Cafe >>> You will get more info before you commit yourself to it..

2. The address given for posh Covent Garden is not her registered postal address. It is a forwarding office. The office collects their mail and forwards it to her. I have been there.

I was left very disturbed at making me believe that this was her genuine bookshop address. At the time, there was a background image of a bookshop. Mind manipulation.

It should had been stated at the top of the address that it was a forwarding address, if there was honesty. I was left annoyed so i began to dig deep.

3. The email sent has no name signature. No professionalism. No transparency. How can this venture be trusted??? Wake up.

4. Dodges questions asked. So, i went and dug more. I was not given a reply which country she was from? But found out.

5. No transparency. Contradictory info.

My view: Manipulation going on here as info circulating on Google is confusing and makes us believe that the bookstore is in Bournemouth, UK and is in full function. But in reality, this is not so.

And, she will quickly tell you that her website has mentioned this under Submission. This is written in red under a logo. Then, why differing info floating on Google? More below.

6. Their website has info under ‘Submission’ > Save your guaranteed spot > that “All proceeds from this form are going towards the fundraising efforts of opening the physical store” ……. but no mention when will it start?

Be warned as it may never start. And, never see your book in her bookstore, from my analysis. And, money paid lost.

I was informed by email that it will open at the end of this year/ early next year 2025. Why not mention this on the website then???

Too many gaps for my liking. The full truth is not given on the website.

7. You Tube states that she has written a book but no mention of the name of the book.

Was a translation app used as i was told it is in English? That is, if truly her book exists. Any author would like to mention the name of book, in order to relate to other authors. Very Suspicious. Red flags.

*** You tube: search “The Under Covers Bookstore and Cafe.” Listen to it.

I was not impressed. Trustworthiness is not coming across. She sounds quite bossy for my liking. The vibes i got was mind manipulation going on here. No wonder investors have not come forward.

8. She sent this to me:
“We use all of our social media to advertise books, please, check below:
facebook. (Link removed as Trust Pilot does not permit it.)
instagram
threads @theundercoversbookstore
twitter @theundercoversbookstore
youtube
pinterest
tiktok @theundercoversbookstore”

*** Question to ask: And, how many days will it be advertised on Facebook and instagram for? A day? A week???

Otherwise, how would she/they make a saving to fund her bookstore in Bournemouth if spent now on quality and honest advertisement ????? It does not add up. I am from a business background.

*** Facebook and Instagram adverts are not cheap. I have used them. And, noticed that people on Facebook and Instagram will “like” it…. but have no money to buy your book.

These are people on Facebook and Instagram who have time on their hand but no money to spend. I repeat, they pass their time on social media as no money to go out with. Wake up.

*** Twitter - ads does not work. Useless. I have tried it. Nobody pays any attention.

*** Pinterest and Threads are outdated. Who looks at them now?

*** Tik Tok - will “like” it …..but no sales. Most here, too, are with time on their hands but not much money

*** Your book on their website is a waste of time. Website is unknown. It is not well known to the outside world, in order for people to trust the website and believe in your book eg Amazon.
