We hired this company to design a website for our small business, and at first, they seemed efficient, responsive, and professional. However, once we paid them, progress came to a grinding halt. A year later, we still had no functional website.

Their work was riddled with obvious spelling and grammatical errors, and even basic design principles—like proper alignment—were ignored. Simple mistakes went uncorrected despite pointing it out multiple times.

To make matters worse, they misrepresented themselves as a UK-based company, but it quickly became clear this wasn’t true, as we’d only hear from them after midday.

The most shocking part was their handling of our Google Business Profile. They helped set it up but deceptively made themselves the primary owner. When we finally decided to cut ties and build the website ourselves, we asked them to transfer ownership back to us. Instead, they refused and tried to extort £300 for a so-called “handover process.”

Despite never receiving a completed website, social media templates, or any of the services we paid for, we didn’t even ask for a refund—just our rightful ownership of our business profile. Thankfully, Google stepped in and removed them.

If you value your money, your sanity, and your business, stay far away from this company. Unprofessional, unethical, and a complete waste of time!

No response from anyone at Website Masters via phone or email for weeks now. They should be building the CRM for our website. We have paid for a website and hosting fees but now no one is responding. Do not use!!

The company endeavors to build a web site to your expectations! They either have too much work or they are farming out the building of your web site. Asking them to change an aspect was uphill. I asked them to use a photo but crop some writing in 2024 not done, the site is a copy of someone else’s site..part of their about was included on my site..now removed..I am sorry to say I am disappointed with the site!

I deeply regret choosing ‘The Website Master UK’ for my project. What started as a promise of professionalism and timely delivery has turned into a nightmare of delays, excuses, and lack of accountability.

Despite their promises, the project remains incomplete after 9+ months, with basic functionalities like payment and shipping modules still not implemented. They even attempted to charge me multiple times for services I had already paid for!

Their customer service has been appalling. After months of back-and-forth, they stopped responding to my emails entirely. They even had the audacity to suggest that if I thought I could complete the website myself, I should just do it. This level of rudeness and unprofessionalism is unacceptable.

They advertise a “100% money-back guarantee,” but when I requested a refund due to their failure to meet the April 24th deadline, they refused. Instead, they offered empty promises and stalling tactics. I’ve lost over £3,000 in products due to their delays and have spent countless hours doing tasks their team was supposed to handle.

This company has cost me not only money but also time, effort, and peace of mind. Their actions (or lack thereof) are dishonest and disrespectful. If you value your business and resources, stay far away from The Website Masters UK!!
