Third Space Canary Wharf is the best…

Third Space Canary Wharf is the best gym in Canary Wharf and honestly one of the best gyms in the world. 🌎❤️🤲🏻🙏🏻♾️ I truly love this gym so much. The facilities are amazing always clean, modern, luxurious, and high quality. The atmosphere is fantastic and always motivates me every time I visit.

The customer service is outstanding, and all the staff are friendly, welcoming, professional, and incredibly helpful. The classes, equipment, and overall experience are exceptional. Thank you to the whole team at Third Space Canary Wharf for consistently providing such an amazing experience. I genuinely appreciate everything you do.”

Third Space is honestly one of the best…

Third Space is honestly one of the best gyms I’ve ever been part of. The facilities are excellent, always clean, well maintained, and clearly designed with a lot of thought. You can tell they care about the experience, not just packing the place with equipment.

What really sets it apart though is the community. It genuinely feels less like a gym and more like a family. The atmosphere is welcoming, people are friendly, and there’s a real sense that everyone there is invested in improving themselves while supporting others around them.

Yes, the price is high, there’s no pretending otherwise. But to their credit, they consistently reinvest into the space. There are constant upgrades, improvements, and even entirely new facilities opening, so it never feels like you’re paying a premium for something that stays stagnant.

If you want more than just a room full of machines, if you want a place that feels motivating, social, and genuinely high quality, Third Space is hard to beat.

More revenue optimisation and less premier gym experience.

Historically a great gym that loved. It seems to have changed, and now feels more like revenue optimisation. You realise this if you try to cancel, or if you try to extend your membership and find they charge you months before you are even allowed to use the full gym membership due to long wait lists. The spa membership is offered at Canary wharf, but it has been so oversold that it is virtually unusable despite paying for a membership. The gym floor is so busy I stopped going altogether. The facilities are wonderful, but its new(ish) PE owner is clearly taking the gym in a different direction.

Best Gym by far

I've been going to the Third Space Canary Wharf and Wood Wharf for over a year now. It's by far the best gym l've ever been too and couldn't be happier about it. I always have a good experience being there and most importantly l've never been so consistent going to classes and gym. I'm always looking forward to be there no matter how early the classes I booked are, and that says a lot.. I genuinely have nothing negative to say, I really love it! My favourite Pilates instructors are Amanda Khouv-Lim, Fallon Stocker, and Anna Britton! I look better than ever before and I’m looking forward for this new year at the Third Space!

Worth every penny

I’ve been a member for about three years now and I honestly can’t fault the team. The staff at the front desk are always friendly and helpful, no matter how busy it is. There’s one bloke in particular who used to be upstairs on the gym floor and is now at reception, he’s always professional and you can tell he really puts the work in.

What’s also stood out over the years is how much the club keeps improving. There’s always something being updated or made better, which you don’t really see at most gyms. It feels like they actually care about the member experience.

It does get busy at certain times, but that’s pretty normal anywhere decent. Overall, it’s a great place to train and the team make a big difference.

One guy at the front desk is extremely…

One guy at the front desk is extremely rude, curt and dismissive.

Also their cancellation policy is that you have to give a full month, no matter the circumstances, I found out recently I have to move out the country and still they're making me pay an extra month because I'm a few days late on their 1 month notice.

With premium prices should come premium customer service, the lack of flexibility is baffling and reeks of predatory cash grabbing.

Third Space Canary Wharf

The most incredible gym ever. Every single aspect of fitness is covered here with the most incredible instructors (Melanie covered a few Pilates classes and she was incredible, gavin, sally, gabby, josh just a few honourable mentions) The concierge team are so welcoming and lovely, the housekeeping staff are so polite and always happy to help! Would highly recommend

Amazing facility

Third space Canary Wharf is an absolute luxury! Staff are lovely and the facilities are out of this world! Zoe is a very polite and super friendly manager who always goes out of her way to talk to me and ensure my session is going smoothly! Shout out to the concierge staff who always greet me on arrival!

Stellar experience


I’ve been a member at Third Space Canary Wharf for over 4 years, and it’s an excellent facility. What I like most is the cleanliness. The club goes above and beyond to provide its members with an enjoyable experience, whether on the gym floor or in the pool and spa. Truly a crème de la crème experience.

Luxury prices, facilities and service falling behind

I have been a member of third space for several years. They had 3 sites when I first joined and customer service and facilities were excellent. Customer service has very much taken a back seat to aggressive expansion and profit more recently. The class instructors change at a rapid pace and good instructors do not tend to stay long. I found out recently that this is because they pay much less than other gyms despite the very high member fees. One good instructor told me that they were paid half what they are by other local employers and couldn’t afford to carry on. The shower facilities at Canary Wharf are really poorly maintained (the frosting has worn off so their is no privacy) and the shower at Wood Wharf have no pressure at peak times and you can only have a cold shower. You may also need to queue and struggle to find a locker. Despite this they are raising prices yet again. There are positive aspects, but the club needs to ensure the the facilities and customer service meets the luxury price tag.

I have been at Third Space six months…

I have been at Third Space six months now, an what really has impressed me is the level of care taking to maintain such high standards, From the concierge who are all exceptionally professional and have been a delight every single time i visit. They even top dubai for level of service in my eyes. Zack is a charmer and always there to help, Tom has been super professional everytime i have interacted great guy, Eryka is the gold standard of the concierge for me her smile brightens everybodys day, she is always positive and evokes that energy a real asset to the team, the gym manager Jack he is always on point with how things are being run and has interacted in a very professionally positive manner, I do like the gym but i believe the staff make this place worth every single penny, from the housekeeping Franceso is a legend, to PTs like Antonio. Tapiwa, Ben & Reece, they always make you feel welcome. They have provided me with a safe space to train and reach my targets. Excellent experience so far..

Third Space Canary Wharf. Avoid at all costs.

Third Space has somehow turned hypocrisy into a fully operational business strategy. Their latest mid-month email (designed to fall mid month to force you in to another month of membership you no longer want) announced yet another 10%+ price hike, wrapped in the endlessly wheeled-out tone-deaf excuse of “cost of living.” Apparently that phrase only applies to their accounting team, not the actual members funding all their brilliant financial decisions. After all, why worry about London’s rising costs when you can simply invoice your members for yours?

And despite these alleged hardships, Third Space mysteriously still has bottomless funds for constant, performative refurbishments nobody asked for and shiny new clubs to “expand the brand.” If this is what financial strain looks like, then sign me up, but more on this hypocrisy below…

Meanwhile, the actual Third Space experience remains reliably underwhelming: overcrowded floors, equipment that breaks and stays broken, and huge chunks of the gym sealed off for months at a time for renovations that weren’t needed. One month here now costs the same as seven months at other gyms in the same postcode. “Premium” has rarely felt so hilariously misapplied.

And then we arrive at the cherry on top: after cancelling within 11 days of the month, exactly as the CMA / Trading Standards advises as appropriate and fair, I’m now being threatened with legal action for refusing to pay an extra month I don’t want. All while they consistently time their fee-hike announcements mid-month, trapping members into another full payment cycle. A pattern that feels spectacularly out of line with the spirit of CMA guidance meant to protect consumers from this exact kind of nonsense.

Now let’s talk numbers, because they matter. Third Space made £11.1 million in pre-tax profit in 2024, a 115% jump from the year before. Their revenue hit nearly £100 million, up 43%.

Yet this very profitable company actually emailed members last week claiming their latest price hike [quote] “reflects the rapidly rising cost of living in London.” It’s touching, really…a multimillion-pound gym chain pleading hardship to the people (their members) who are ACTUALLY feeling the cost of living crisis. You couldn’t write satire this good.

Apparently £11.1 million just isn’t enough to pay staff (literally what they wrote) without squeezing members even harder. So the solution? Charge more. Then charge again when people try to leave. Truly visionary.

Would you willingly pour money into a gym that treats its members like nothing more than revenue streams on legs? Because at Third Space, that’s exactly what you are.

And the PR optics? Ghastly. A wealthy, rapidly expanding gym chain citing a “cost of living crisis” to justify extracting even more from Londoners already feeling the squeeze. It’s tone-deaf, exploitative, and a perfectly valid reason more members are heading for the exits. Read the review across all platforms and see for yourself.

And I have no doubt Third Space will reply to this review with the same generic, copy-and-paste corporate paragraph they paste under every complaint, elegantly phrased, impressively non-committal, and masterfully crafted to avoid addressing a single actual point raised.

So while Third Space continues “renovating” everything except its relationship with long-standing members, I’ve decided to renovate my life…starting by removing anything that drains money without delivering value.

Third Space was the first to go.
After all… “cost of living,” isn’t it?

And watch what will happen next — a generic corporate response from Third Space that doesn’t address any of the concerns raised in my review, instead asking me to email them for help… despite already informing me that they will no longer engage with me by email. In my view, this says a lot about how the company handles member feedback. Personally, I would avoid them if you value your wellbeing and your wallet.

This gym is phenomenal

This gym is phenomenal. Anna, Amber, Zack, Pip, Eryka and the rest of the concierge team are so friendly and welcoming. No other gym compares to Third Space. Everything you need is here!

The third space group is fantastic

The third space group is fantastic, very high quality equipment and interior. There’s ton of staff and housekeepers monitoring the gym floor which makes a noticeable difference.
The class selection is varied and they’re really high quality. I used to use ClassPass for Barry’s and 1Rebel and it’s definitely comparable.
I would recommend to anyone.

Everything is designed to make you feel great

The Third Space is an amazing gym. From the vast amount of different classes to the gym floor, the whole experience is as nice as it can get, you just don't want to leave! The staff is really friendly, the changing rooms are lovely and clean and everything is designed to make your life easier. I specially enjoy the boxing classes, the instructors are amazing, in particular Pablo, Diego and Leander. The classes are so intense and still fun, leaves you feeling great.

I’ve been training at Third Space for a…

I’ve been training at Third Space for a little while now and honestly, it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. From the trainers to the concierge staff to the housekeepers, everyone here is incredibly friendly, approachable and the trainers are genuinely invested in helping you progress. The atmosphere is so welcoming that I’ve actually started trying new things I never would’ve had the confidence to try before.

The environment really pushes you out of your comfort zone in the best say, you always feel supported, encouraged and challenged at the same time. Whether you’re a beginner or someone who’s been training for years, the team makes you feel right at home.

Highly recommend Third Space to anyone looking for a space that makes fitness feel empowering, enjoyable and personal.

Third Space is such an amazing gym

Third Space is such an amazing gym! The place is super clean and well-kept, which makes working out there so much nicer. The staff are all really friendly and welcoming — they always make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. The classes are great too, especially the Pilates sessions — the instructor is really attentive and makes sure everyone gets the most out of it. Honestly, can’t recommend this place enough!
