One of the best things in Richmond is having a Third Space gym and I'm not exaggerating. I absolutely love everything about this gym, the staff are always so lovely, the impeccable facilities and literally tons of classes to choose from everyday including hourly reformer pilates! Also the cleanliness, the fact that you can do intense workout and relax in the hydropool and sauna/steam all in one place. I am so beyond grateful to have this gym at my doorstep. There is no better place to go for a workout! Thank you for bringing magic into our lives Third space team.

Fantastic gym with amazing instructors and a wide variety of classes. Never have any issues getting on classes and always find the gym clean and not overly busy which is nice

[Canary Wharf branch] Yoga classes have been gradually reduced, especially in the mornings. There isn’t much variety in Traditional Reformer classes, and the lockers often have issues.
There is nobody enforcing the rules around people taking selfies and videos in the gym while others are training. Worse still, I’ve encountered multiple instances of people taking selfies and even making video calls in the changing rooms. I’m usually the one having to report then to reception.
Some members of the reception staff are also quite rude and speak in a patronising tone rather than treating members with respect.
All a bit unexpected given the price point.

I attended Third Space Queen’s Park’s open day feeling happy and excited to join. I took the time to visit, completed the forms and provided my card details, looking forward to becoming a member. The emails that followed completely changed that feeling.

Before my membership began, I sent an email requesting a pause during a month-long trip to Japan, gifted by my children for my 60th birthday. I clearly stated that my membership would start in November and that I would be away from December into January. I also asked whether they would consider waiving the associated charges as a birthday gesture.

Sophia’s response got my return date wrong and discussed restrictions on freezing the first month, although my request concerned the second month. My request to consider waiving the fee was not directly addressed. These mistakes left me questioning how carefully my email had been read and how little value Third Space places on its members.

Disappointed, I asked by email about cancellation. India politely explained the refund options, but showed no curiosity about why an enthusiastic new member now wanted to leave. Nobody asked what had gone wrong or whether anything could be resolved.

Although my children’s gift was acknowledged, neither response included even a simple advance happy birthday wish. That small courtesy would have brought some warmth to the exchange. Instead, as a woman approaching 60, I was left feeling overlooked and wondering whether someone of my age was a member they cared to welcome.

Having travelled to 61 countries and experienced luxury hospitality in the UK and abroad, I expected much more thoughtful service. My disappointment was never simply about a £40 fee. It was about making the effort to join and then feeling that my custom barely mattered.

I have requested cancellation and the full refund offered. I am relieved this happened before my membership began. Luxury facilities may attract people through the door, but the way those people are treated determines whether they want to stay.

ThirdSpace has a lot of promise & potential.

It is NOT Equinox like NYC that operates at business person's hours.

The new Chelsea one is beautiful and has a lot of staff. The locker rooms are well serviced & Nice.

The equipment is not as nice as the local council (same vintage with fewer elliptical options.)

The floor towels are nasty-- it is like they are saving money on detergent. They smell of body odor.

The pool is a spa pool not a lap pool, again the council pool wins for swimmers.

The staff are fine. The place is busy and has too many members.

So -- it is a work in progress. Not Equinox and not as equipped as the local council but it is pretty & convenient.

The social event was great, with very welcoming staff and nice setting to socialise and spend a good time.

I really enjoy Third Space Richmond. Great facilities and high quality classes. Looking forward to seeing more from the members’ lounge too, with space to relax and enjoy a coffee after a workout.

The best gym around. Awesome classes and such friendly reception. Love Moorgate Clapham Richmond and Wimbledon benches. Also the best healthy food and shakes around

Third Space Richmond has become one of my favourite daily rituals. Brilliant variety, great value for what is on offer, and an addictive community vibe.

Great service from Jasmine, who is always friendly, approachable and willing to help with any questions or specific requirements. Her helpful and supportive attitude is always appreciated.

The entire spa team is consistently welcoming, professional and attentive, making each visit a pleasant experience. They maintain a high standard of customer service and always create a friendly and comfortable environment.

Spotlessly clean and excellent classes. It’s a beautiful environment with full equipment, and the spa area is such a treat. Very motivated to go the the gym now.

Superb facilities and really lovely staff. All round excellent experience!

Fantastic gym and experience

This facility has significantly declined in quality and no longer provides the luxury experience I originally signed up for.

The front desk and concierge staff are unhelpful. Seem more interested in being on their phones or taking photos. Additionally, there is a frustrating double standard regarding rules: members are restricted from using cameras, yet staff and select individuals are permitted to film freely.

The club's atmosphere has lost its standards, highlighted by staff walking around the gym floor in high heels, and an overall cliquey, inappropriate environment among the staff.

The price hikes are abhorrent. The equipment is outdated. The facilities are dirty. There is also an extremely evident staff turnover. It clearly has bad management and leadership.

Incredible gym, wonderful teachers and such clean areas including the spa.

I love Third Space Gyms. They have the most up to date equipment, well thought out gym floors, great classes, with great teachers, wonderful PT staff and a spirit of community that I haven't found in other gyms. Mayfair is the smallest of the clubs, however I have found the whole team there to be incredibly helpful, welcoming and fun! I love every interaction with them. Bravo to the Mayfair team - keep up the good work.

I love coming to third space, the classes are super varied, the instructors are all very high level and the spaces are just super beautiful and clean.
