Been going to The Beach at Llandullas for over fifty years renting and have found it to be the best site in North Wales by far. Extremely friendly staff across the whole site. The cleanliness is first class and we particularly like the way the park takes care of the flower beds/borders and baskets. Nothing is too much for the staff. We had been looking to purchase a caravan for a few years and in 2025 this became a reality. The whole process of buying, from start to finish was made extremely easy by Joe. The best decision we made last year and we are well happy with the outcome.

What a fantastic experience from start to finish. From our very first interaction, every member of staff we dealt with was friendly, approachable, and genuinely helpful, never once feeling pushy or pressured. The whole process felt smooth and well managed throughout. A special mention must go to Joe, our sales manager, who was an absolute joy to deal with. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his communication was excellent at every stage, keeping us fully informed and reassured. To top it all off, the stunning hamper we received on key day was such a thoughtful and lovely surprise. Highly recommended.

In 2023 I purchased a pre loved static caravan at Thornley Leisure Parks Craiglwyd Hall site in North Wales
All was fine until I turned in November last year to find the whole static flooded with human waste which had come up through the toilet shower basin.
I reported this to the main office who sent an employee to inspect the damage.
He turned up, had a look and , I’ve never seen this before and left.
Since then no investigation into why it flooded has been carried out, and if it could happen again.
I contacted Thornley’s head office, David Thornley one the stakeholders replied basically with the same attitude, it’s not our problem.
I had just paid my annual site fee £5250, as the static is now unusable, I requested a refund, again negative response.
The whole thing is being dealt with by my insurance, it may prove to be a uneconomical repair the damage caused by the sewage is that bad.
Thornley are OK until there is an issue, being an unregulated business they have nobody to answer too, which they have proven in this case.

It is our third year of owning a static caravan on Dinlle and we love it here. We upgraded our caravan in January/February 2025 which was very straightforward, Josh and the team went above and beyond to achieve the best deal for us. we're so happy in our lovely holiday home which has uninterrupted views of the snowdonia mountain range and Dinas Dinlle beach along with fish and chips and cafe Braf just five minute stroll down the road.
The staff in the office, park keepers and grounds people are all very welcoming and friendly. The site is about five miles from Caernarfon if you want supermarkets, shops, dining out or a fabulous Castle to visit. Owning a holiday home with Thornley Leisure has been a good experience for our family. It is helpful that you understand all the costs before buying one. Josh and his sales team were very helpful with everything. Well done Thornley for keeping such a beautiful site here at Dinlle. ☺️

We purchased our holiday home on VV August 24 and have just completed our first full year on the site. So pleased we made the leap.
The site is beautiful, immaculately maintained and Sarah and Clive go above and beyond to help and support with any issues.
The location is perfect with easy access to plenty of days out to suit everyone and the owner events throughout the year are a really nice touch that bring everyone together.
We have enjoyed Halloween, Christmas, Easter and the best part of the 6 weeks summer holiday on site and each season has its own magic.
It's a joy to get the children off the screens and onto the park! Looking forward to many more happy years ahead.

The staff at Morfa Lodge are very friendly and helpful. It has lovely well kept gardens a swimming pool and a paddling pool and the beach is a 10 minute walk away. It has a lovely clubhouse with entertainment. We bought our caravan with the help of Josh the Sales manager, who is very helpful and friendly and sorted out any issues we had.

Fantastic site lovely and quiet with fantastic staff.

We own a caravan here and can not fault the service or the park. Everything is very well maintained and the groundsmen do a fantastic job. All the staff go out of their way to help you.

We holidayed several times some years ago at both Morfa and Dinas Dinlle. After Covid we were looking to find a pitch for our tourer and visited Dinas remembering how nice it was and how close to the beach it is. After looking at available pitches (which were good and nicely spaced) we had a wander and looked at the statics for sale. We met Josh (Sales Manager, lovely guy, not pushy) who gave us more info and also showed us some on the Morfa site. Long story short - we bought a static on the Morfa site and got rid of the tourer! We've since upgraded to a larger unit.
The site is lovely with well kept gardens, quite close to the beach and Caravans are nicely spaced, not row upon row looking into each others windows.
There is a club house which has occasional entertainment on and 2 pools - a paddling pool and a swimming pool. Everyone we've met on the site have been friendly and staff are too.

We bought a used caravan at Morfa Lodge in March 20205. Josh in Sales was excellent, he understood our requirements and budget and was patient and helpful with our many questions. The handover process was smooth and any minor snagging issues were dealt with promptly.
The site is in a great location for us and it's always kept neat and tidy by the friendly site staff.

Since purchasing our lodge at Valley View in Sept’23 we are simply having the best time ever!
Yes the location is important to us as we love the area, so much to see with plenty of great walks nearby but the whole team at VV make this gem of a park so special.

We sited our touring caravan at Dinlle 5 years ago.We loved the site so much we bought a static 2 years ago. With the help of Josh the sales manager we were sited on a plot with the most spectacular views of Snowdonia. It was the best decision we have ever made, it is our second home. The staff are all lovely and helpful, the site is beautiful and kept to the highest standard, we love the heated pool and the beach is at the end of the road. We would highly recommend Dinlle.

We purchased our caravan at Morfa Lodge with the help of Josh. A very knowledgeable young man any questions we had he answered, there was no pressure sales and he was very honest in Understanding our budget our concerns and all explained in very helpful manner. We bought a pre-loved caravan at Morfa Lodge in May 2025 and quickly realised that the site was perfect for us and ended up upgrading to a newer caravan in July 2025 (so we are guaranteed many more years on site).
The location is perfect in that it is just a short car journey to Pwllheli/Abersoch in one direction and Caernarfon/Conway/Llandudno in the other! There's even a decent beach just 15/20 mins walk away or 2 mins by car! The swimming pool (and toddlers pool) is a godsend for when the grandkids visit but could do with a few extra tables/chairs.
The site is maintained meticulously and all staff are polite and courteous. The management staff of Josh, Dewi and James have helped us enormously in settling in and attending to one or two minor snags.
The only downside is that the onsite bar is quite expensive for drinks and perhaps the reason why useage appears low.
All in all, very happy to give a 5star rating.

We are delighted with our purchase of a caravan at Maenan Abbey, North Wales. The site is peaceful and well maintained, winning the Welsh caravan site of the year on many occasions. The staff are super. (Special shout out to Rob!!)
There is no bar, no swimming pool just the peace and quiet of the Welsh countryside. Handy for Betws y coed, Llandudno and Snowdonia.
We have owned for 4 years and let our family and friends use the caravan and there has never been a negative comment!

We are at the Craiglwyd site in Penmaenmawr, North Wales. The site is lovely with amazing views and well maintained. I first visited as a child in 1975 and returned with my family on three occasions until 1977. Fast forward to 2024 and ended up in Pen since forever and for nostalgia went to look at Craiglwyd.
My wife and I were just blown away with the layout and flowers - just so pretty. We got talking to the manager and ended up on a whim buying a spot there.
We have no regrets. The location is picturesque with views across the bay. Staff are just brilliant. The old manor houses a bar, lounge and kids facilities with a nice patio.
Great for all ages, pets, families etc yet it is quiet and relaxing. Some fantastic fellow owners too.
Best buy of ours so far.

Absolutely love The Beach caravan park. Our second visit this year. From the initial booking to leaving we cannot fault anything. Reception staff are always very polite and helpful, site staff are good. Site is kept very clean and tidy and the lodge and hot tub was amazing, clean and well equipped.

We've just spent 5 days here at winsford lake side park.the staff AV thought of everything u may need to now very useful book left in our van.everything u need to now .places to visit take aways dr.vets hospital number they thought of everything .our van was overlooking the lake.it was perfect .we fed the ducks and swans from our veranda .amazing can't wait to come back . definitely will be back as soon has we can .thank u all at winsford.mrs Cooke xx

We have visited nearly all the Thornley Leisure caravan parks over the last few years and all have been of a high standard. We decided to have a weekend break last weekend at Gallaber Park. The caravan was immaculate, well equipped and spacious. The staff on the site are really helpful when needed. The park is situated near bus and train routes, so it is easy to get round and explore.
We would be happy to book again.

Stayed at the Dinas dinelle site, from 2 dirty caravans with blood rust dirt mould and false finger nails to awful customer service and lies. We certainly will not be a future customer

I booked a weeks caravan holiday at the beginning of 2020 through this company, staying at one of their sites called Valley view near Welshpool in Wales. I telephoned the head office on the balance due date and asked if the facilities were open mainly the swimming pool. I was assured that it would be as the covid restrictions had been lifted so I went ahead and paid the balance. When we arrived the pool was closed and also the other facilities on site, games room etc. Although I appreciate that we are living in difficult times due to Covid I believe I should have been told the truth and given the opportunity to cancel this booking given that the facilities was the main reason for booking. I have sent several emails asking why I was lied to and addressing the above, all except the first email have been ignored. I was told whilst on site that the facilities have been closed all year. I have taken legal advice and have been told that I am entitled to a partial refund for the loss of enjoyment. This company will lie to you to get your money so beware and take your custom elsewhere to a company that are transparent and care about their customers!
