Increase in performance right off the bat. 4.5 mpg increase.

My 2018 Toyota Highlander LE plus is supposed to get 21mpg city and 27mpg highway, the fist ride up north the car got 31.4mpg. Better throttle response on top of that. Well worth the money.

I have seen exactly zero difference in my 2025 Ford F150’s performance after installing the Thornton Performance Chip. After reading real reviews not the ones on Thorntons website I wish I would have never wasted my money. Snake oil scam. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE!

Purchased a Thorton tuning chip for 2016 Transit Van.
Made no difference in two years of use and over 20,000 miles. Noticed no differences.

Customer service is prompt and always ready to exchange for another chip . But as to the chip working as advertised, not so much . I am on my third chip and still mpg is not even close to what they say ....but power and throttle response is noticeably better i was without the chip for about 4 or 5 days and noticed the lack of power and throttle response . After putting the chip back .....Wow ....

This chip really increases acceleration and fuel mileage in a 2014 Audi A4, most likely a good application for turbo cars. I have had several gtis and ttis tuned with$1200+ tunes and for the dollar the Thornton stage 3 chip is excellent. For those who want proof, try it on a turbo engine, the results are obvious even if you want to be dubious, and some of you do, it's an easy conclusion.

These chips do nothing for performance.
I returned both that I bought and they refuse to refund me for 1 saying they never got it. I returned both of them in the same box so they had to have gotten both if they got one.

Did nothing for me, company doesn't care and will not help or refund you on a product they guarantee...Also Left a review several days before this one and still is not posted to their site...so if I gave them 5 stars it would have been posted...

It appears to have not done anything, I didn't notice in difference in performance.

Terrible product, terrible customer service. Do not waste your money. The performance chips no matter what stage may cause damage on your vehicle. They will fight like no other to return and won’t refund any shipping charges including the charges to return it if you can make it happen. Yes it’s a legitimate business but it’s a scammy business better off shopping at Temu

Purchased a stage 2 Thorton tuner module, then after installing it and driving the recommended 150 miles, we watched our 2025 KIA Sportage Hybrid SX Prestige loose mpg. Before the install we were averaging 38-40MPG, after install we lost 6+ mpg averaging 32-33mpg. The module curves the power-band air/fuel mixture with very high revs.

We emailed the customer support and we were advised to reset the module, then reinstall it and then drive more miles again.

We had enough and told them we wanted out money back. They said "unfortunately your past the 30 day money back guarantee (by 4 days) we can only replace it for you.

DO NOT BUY!!!
Purchased two for two different vehicles. Received 3 and was charged for 3. These are NOT returnable as per the fine print due to being on sale. They are permanently marked at 50% off. I received the same exact module with different stickers on the boxes. Installed anyway as I already spent the money. Waited for performance gains as per the instructions. Almost a month later and no power or fuel economy difference.
Save for a real tune. This is a fake and a complete waste of money. Total garbage.

They scammed me into keeping the chip for replacement promising to process a return if the second chip did not work. Then when the 2nd chip did not work she told me I was past my return window and I could not return it. I kept on fighting with her but she kept going around in circles and eventually hung up on me. This is a strategic scam company, DON'T TRUST THORNTON CHIP TUNING!!!!!

They can’t even send me the correct chip ! Very disappointing customer service!!

Scam!!!! It doesn't work i actually lost 2 miles per gallon and my honda felt sluggish

I just purchased only the stage one Thornton tuning chip for a 2015 BMW 328i m sport and I’ll admit I was very skeptical because for the amount of money, it just didn’t seem like anything would happen, but I was very wrong! This chip just easily plugged into my OBD2 port under my dash and they say it takes 20 to 30 miles to tell, but I didn’t need more than one to tell that it was improving the way my car was running. This is in regular comfort mode that it is making a significant difference in but when you put it in sport or sport plus it just ups those as well! I can’t even imagine what a stage two or stage three would do if this is only a one? It is very worth the investment!

Never buy this product. It doesn't work. You will end up paying for return. Waste of money.
