Long time customer with many past orders. my last 2 orders never arrived. I tried contacting them through the help email and got no reply.
I've been ordering from Threadless since *checks account, 2008, with 36 orders in total. Three of those orders have included shirts which didn't have a great print on them (around the start of the pan... See more

About Threadless
Written by the company
For over 20 years, we’ve partnered with hundreds of thousands of artists, promoting their independent art to millions of fans around the world. We are a diverse, global community of artists and those who support them.
But what’s our comic-book origin story? In 2000, we began as a t-shirt company based in our beloved hometown of Chicago. Since then, we’ve evolved into a fully remote company with a marketplace full of apparel, accessories, and home decor, powered by our Artist Shops community. We’re constantly searching for more products for our artists to use as canvases for their best, weirdest, nerdiest, most beautiful art. If you’re an artist, we want your art to be seen—everywhere. And if you’re a fan, we want you to find art and products that let you celebrate your uniqueness.
At Threadless, we celebrate the unique diversity that shapes each of us as human beings. We also support creative expression that drives cultural change and love art that sparks a conversation. Threadless is both a brave space for artists to share their designs and a safe space for all identities to find art that supports the things they care about. Even now, with the launch of Threadless Causes, you can make a positive impact on the world by purchasing designs directly supporting critically important initiatives.
Threadless would not be possible without fellow lovers of art like yourself. Every purchase you make directly supports the artist who made the design. With every design you score and every Design Challenge you vote for, you help shape our eclectic marketplace.
Our Community Experience team is here to help with anything along the way. Don't hesitate to email us with any questions, concerns, or just to say hi- help@threadless.com.
Let’s make great together.

Small Business Owners Go Elsewhere!
I set up a shop for my small business on Threadless. I placed and order 17 days before I needed it and waited. A week later I get an email that my order was canceled, that somehow it was missed but no worries they redid the order (somehow added $6 to the total) and reprocessed it. Here I am now 3 days from when I need the items and only one seems to have shipped.
SMALL BUSINESSES STEER CLEAR - THEY DON'T CARE!

Had no luck with customer service
Had no luck with customer service: tried cancelling my order immediately after sending it. Got a "thank you we got your message" email. Customer service replied 4 days later, when the order had been already shipped with "oh sorry your message went to spam and what did you want? "
Even if cancelling hadn't been possible anyway, and/or their ticket processing system does send to spam messages from addresses they had corresponded with before, I'd prefer to get an answer from somebody who can, at least, read. "I want to cancel" seems to be quite a simple idea, receiving a "What kind of changes did you need to make to your order?" four days later as a reply is really frustrating.

Great shopping experience
The shopping experience, the quality of the shirts, and the customer service is all excellent. I love shopping from threadless for unique gifts.

Absolute garbage quality
Absolute garbage quality. One wash and the shirt shrunk around the logo on it. It looks awful. The logo also wasn't laid right so some of the shirt color bled through the print.
Really disappointing.

Not the same Threadless quality I was expecting
Years ago I ordered a batch of shirts from threadless that still look great today, so I thought I’d order some new shirts from threadless in hopes that I’d get the same quality. Unfortunately the threadless quality from the past is no longer. The shirts that I ordered were sized wrong and the print on one shirt was printed far lower than shown on the photo. Customer service offered a refund, however upon receiving the refund it was only a partial refund, they refused to refund my shipping, so I’ve spent about 8 dollars to donate defective shirts unless I win my dispute. Don’t buy shirts from this company. Additionally in response to the threadless reply below, The shirts were indeed defective, both shirts were tagged as XL’s. One shirt measured 22’ and the other 23’ making them far too tight. And as mentioned before, the design was printed lower than shown on the webpage. I had to open a dispute with PayPal to get my full refund.

Threadless is taking advantage of its artists & customers
Four products got sold from my store, I got profit from one only. The other three mention zero profit "because they got on base price" because of some promotion or another.
In the meantime my friends who got shirts lately are complaining about the abhorrent quality. The designs peel off after a few washes. This is not how it used to be.
I will close my account and advice other artists to do the same. It's better to support your local print vendor and create high quality artifacts.

Not a glimpse of what they used to be.
I ordered from Threadless 10 years ago and was happy with the products. Some t-shirts didn’t have the best quality but the printing quality was out of this world. I ordered again recently and… was I in for a surprise. The quality of both the tshirts and printing is below zero. Colors are opaque, nothing like the design. Costumer service basically says this is just the way things are now. Not even a shadow of what this company used to be. So sad. Never ever ordering anything from them again.

A Creative Hub with Frustratin approval process
A Creative Hub with Frustrating Approval Process
Threadless offers a unique concept and fosters a competitive, creative environment for artists. I particularly enjoy having my own shop there (maksdesigner.threadless)Their only drawback is the approval process for new accounts.
There's a bit of lack intransparency. I submitted a design over a week ago and haven't received any feedback or indication of how long it might take. Knowing the approval criteria and timeframe would be a huge improvement for artists.
While Threadless offers a great platform for artists, the unclear approval process creates some frustration. If they can address this issue, it would be a flawless artist-friendly platform.

I actually joined as an artist
I actually joined as an artist, I finally created a portfolio I was excited to list, designs I KNOW are good because I have ran tests on them with my clients before I even began my POD adventure. I could print myself, I have the equipment, just not the time anymore so I was really thrilled to find Threadless. Especially since they claim new artists have the same opportunities as their few select artists they seem to be keen on. But I have learned very quickly this is not the case. I have entered a few of their contests and I know one of my designs had more votes that some of their chosen winners, so I call their voting system a joke because it is. Recently I had three designs shot down because they claimed I made them with AI but I am a graphic designer and I take pride in the fact I DO NOT use AI and I refuse to. This company makes artists feel welcome but unless we sell anime inspired junk we have zero chances to actually become profitable. I truly believe this company has a very select few artists they like (cuz its about what they like not the customers) and only those artists stand a chance. So if you are an artist hoping to be taken seriously by this site, well good luck. Reality is you need to find a way t get the employees of Threadless to notice you and after learning things I have learned, they only pick their friends. I have someone on the inside who has filled the rest in for me, so if I could give zero stars I absolutely would. And if the company actually cares to read this, heed my advice, you're not competition to sites like Redbubble because you choose to feature the same exact crap over and over, for a POD site you fit one niche, a niche that is honestly losing steam, maybe if you gave new designs an actual chance you could become true competition for the larger POD sites and you could make your artists happy. As a matter of fact I am willing to pay a subscription fee if it helps you weed out the artists flooding your site with AI junk. I am steps away from creating my own POD site where I can take new artists just as seriously as I had hoped you'd take me. Oh, another issue, if I or my customers search my products they cannot find them, an issue I have read many others have. How can we prove we can get sales if no one can find our work?! SMFH, yu could have something great but not if you stay on this same path.

Unstoppable marketing mails
Not complaining about products or support. I complain about the fact that after becoming a customer they treat your mailbox like a toilet with an unstoppable stream of advertising. So, anybody considering to become a customer should be prepared for this.
With "unstoppable" I mean: all their mails have, at the bottom, a URL with title "Click here to no longer receive these emails.". So - even if you did not ask to receive marketing mails in the first place - you click on it in the hope of no longer receiving their mails and be done with it. Well, it does not work. I did it one, two, three, four times, I can not remember how many. No way, mails keep coming.
A business ethics involve marketing as well, even if marketing is outsourced to an external company. Doing marketing wrong is an excellent way to irritate people and deteriorate your reputation, no matter how attention is put on products and service. Pity.

I purchased a t-shirt with my own design 5 months ago
So, about five months back, I picked up a Heather Gray Men's Regular T-Shirt from Threadless with my own design. Gotta say, the Gildan-branded tee has held up like a champ. Even after plenty of washes, the print is still rocking its vibrant colors. Threadless really nailed it with this one, making it the perfect spot for anyone who wants their shirts to last and look great.

They lowered the quality significantly
They lowered the quality significantly, down to awful... last purchase; one print didn't last more than a wash, one came with no print just a black shirt, was supposed to be black print on a black shirt and all they others were poor quality. Unable to reach them soooo Won't buy there ever again. Sorry you made the wrong choices for your business.

The 100% microfiber performance polyester feels incredibly smooth against the skin and provides a comfortable fit that allows for unrestricted movement. I appreciate the thoughtful design that includes moisture-wicking fabric, which helps keep me dry even during more intense activities. The added anti-microbial finish is a game-changer, effectively fighting odors and keeping the shirt fresh throughout wear. cjdevidfox.threadless.

Love Threadless artist designs
Love Threadless designs! They're outstanding. The pool of artists is sooo wide, that one can always find something unique here. My fav pick is an iphone case with Batman illustration.

I used to love Threadless and have been…
Low quality shirts and printing. I used to love Threadless and have been shopping with them since the early 2000s. Sadly the print quality is just a joke now. I have shirts from 2008 that are still in good shape but the shirts I bought a year ago have all peeled away despite hang drying all of my tops. The shirts themselves are also getting thinner and cheaper in quality. It’s just disappointing to have them cut corners like this while they continue to raise prices. Bye Threadless :(

Love the designs and service!
Love the designs, and quick turnaround on shipping! On my second order, I downsized from an XL to a Large, and found the sizing just wasn't quite what I wanted. Reached out to Customer Service and they replied within 24 hours with a full credit. I even asked them for a partial because I accidentally order 2 of the same shirt, but they still gave full! They earned a customer for life!

Great service!
Ordered four shirts and a small art print. The only difficulty I had with ordering was choosing from all the great designs. The shirt quality was as expected and the prints were good quality based on the price I paid. I think the sizing is confusing if you’re not used to choosing based on measurements. I ended up having an issue with the sizes I ordered but customer service was fast, helpful and friendly. I would order from this company again.
