Men's black fleece constructed from Polartec® High LoftTM fabric. Designed for cold weather hiking and mountaineering.
Polartec® High LoftTM has the greatest warmth-to-weight ratio of all Polartec® fleece technologies. Its patented construction traps more body warmth with longer fleece fibres than conventional insulation for soft feel and maximum comfort. Unique open mesh stitching vents excess heat during exercise. Features elasticated cuffs and hems to keep taut against body for heat retention, thumb loops for easier wear under outer layers, underarm side panels using Polartec® PowerGridTM for breathability and stretch.

I love this fleece, i bought it as i watched a review by the Polaris guys, and i have to say i agree with everything they said about it, i have worn it a couple of times and its so crazy good, it's hard to explain, but you know it's quality, I cant wait to get it out at altitude and in cold weather to give it a test and get to feel it's real quality. It also looks amazing when worn. I have been on two hikes with this fleece, and it regulates heat and temperature really well. I have seen people comment re the price; I get it, but you are paying for quality and thought-out design, in my view. It also depends on what you want to use it for as well. I am chuffed with it

I ordered the PHALANX FLEECE in size M, and it fits me perfectly at 1.75 m and 73 kg. However, I am skeptical as to whether the fur material and mesh fabric used are robust enough in the long term and will withstand prolonged use.

Arguably the best piece of clothing I’ve ever bought. Not just in this “genre” of clothing, any type of clothing. I’ve owned it for 3 weeks and have worn it everyday. I wear it to work, out for coffee or watching the football. It is super soft, super warm, extremely well made and looks unreal!!! Thrudark never fail to deliver. Not my first purchase and certainly not my last.

This is tricky....on the one hand I want to support the guys at ThruDark -Staz and Louis especially. On the other hand I don't want to see other people wearing what is my favourite uniform. The Phalanx is so good. Quality you'd expect from the lads , but the material and fit is next level. I've had five I love them so much plus Ive bought them for my son. I think I'm becoming a ThruDark snob though...When people ask me where and what the Phalanx is if I like the look of them I tell them, but if I don't and I think they don't meet the bar then I say I don't know!!! does that make me a bad person? I dunno..maybe . But I think this brand belongs to the right people with the right values. So Staz...sorry about the lost sales but I'm keeping the TD community status bar very high, and I know you will get that. Shine on you crazy diamonds. Si
