Bought car. Within 2 days, realised wheel bearings were shot. Couldn't get back there for a cpl of weeks. They replaced the wheel bearings but also replaced breaks... even though indidnt ask them... fair enough... thought it was generous... but the new breaks were obviously inferior as they continued to loudly squeek for the next 7 weeks. Arranged to go back in Sunday and get a courtesy car for them to replace the breaks they put on and collect on Monday at 5:30 (they close at 5... but they agreed due to where I had to travel from)
When i arrived on the Sunday they backtracked and said i had to be there at 5 latest, otherwise I would have to get there in the morning. I refused and said it wasnt possible because of work and said I would be there at 5.30 as the originally agreed.
Then as I was leaving in courtesy car, I realised I had no idea how to turn on the radio as there was no obvious media interface. I asked the 'lady'? working there and gave an offhand response and walked off. I asked here again to show me and again wasnt helpful and said its easy to figure out. I said she is being extremely unhelpful. She replied I had been rude from the beginning. Not only asking about the radio but by refusing to get there earlier on the monday and refusing to get up at 5am to drivers there before work.... then here husband walked over and was threatening to me. They took the courtesy car keys and refused to fix the car and remove the dodgy breaks they had put on. The owner then said the only option would be for me to take a day off work and come back another day and wait wile they fixed them. I said I wasnt willing to do this as I had driven for an hour today as agreed. "Why not? Everyone else takes a day off work to get their car fixed"
Ended with them point blank refusing g to do anything and now im left with dodgy breaks I have to cover the cost in myself in another garage.
