In the process of filing a case against ticket advisor for failure of proving services and money embezzlement
To whom this may concern,
I have attempted to get a refund from ticket advisor since June without any success, my money was swindled after the company had made me false promises to send me a full refund on many occations, I have provided this information to my Bank account provider and the police and they both continue to carry out an investigation.
The short version of the story is that I'm looking to travel in december, and knowing that ticket prices are entremely expensive during the holiday season, I decided to make a booking through ticket advisor in March 2018, whereby i would offer a deposit and then make full payment before the end of November, Prior to making further payment installments, I had made enquiries on several occations via email and phone, and asked (Sandra, Chris and Ahmed,...Note: these aren't their real names, just aliases used to cover their true identities...I have been informed by the investigator) ...if i would get my ticket details within 24 hours of making full payment, responce was to rest assured as this would happen within 24 hours.
I then ended up making a full payment during the first week of June, however this is when everything changed, the moment I made full payment, the company employees started ignoring my follow up calls and emails after recieving full payment, and most importantly failed to send me my ticket details within 24 hours, then failed to send me the ticket details for two more weeks...
I kept calling until someone answered the call (Chris), he said to me that the ticket i reserved back in March had some how gone up in price, but someone had failed to relay this information to me until i made full payment.
The obvious play here was they most likely had sold my ticket to another customer offering to pay more for the ticket, like an auction, and then figured that they could make more money from me by asking me to pay a higher price for the new ticket that was available, I declined to make further payments as they had crucially failed to deliver satisfactory services to my self and were in the process of extauting more money from me like a scam company usually does to customers.
Eventually i was put on the phone with their acomplice whose alias is Ahmed, a very specialised cornman, He then be-littled me claiming that i didn't know what i was talking about and continued to claim that i missed the small print within the terms and conditions, however if no services were provided by Ticket advisor as a company, then clearly their terms and conditions are null in this sitiuation as explained to me by my solicitor.
I'm now in the process of filing a case against ticket advisor as a registered trading company within UK for failure of proving services and money embezzlement.
I warn all dear customers to avoid trading services with this falsely misleading company ticket advisor
Regards, from a concerned member of the public,
Henry
