The value of the insurance is fantastic but I had issues with my online quote and completing the steps. I had to renter everything 4 times which was frustrating. Once I had entered everything, the screen looked like it was loading/processing then nothing would happen or say there was an error.

If this hadn’t of happened I would have been highly satisfied with the online quote process.

I cannot speak highly enough of Tick Travel Insurance. During what became a very stressful holiday, our 6-month-old baby became seriously unwell and required hospitalisation overseas. From the moment we contacted Tick, their communication was exceptional. They maintained regular contact with us, liaised directly with the international hospital, and ensured we understood what was happening every step of the way.

As soon as our baby was medically fit to travel, Tick worked quickly to help arrange our early return home so he could continue receiving treatment in Australia. Knowing they were coordinating everything behind the scenes gave us enormous peace of mind during an incredibly difficult time.

A special thank you to Noleen and the over the phone nurse, who were both absolutely outstanding. Their professionalism, compassion, reassurance and genuine care made all the difference to our family. They treated us like people, not just a claim number.

Applying for Tick Travel insurance online was so simple. Price quoted was the best deal and had so many inclusions for the price. I have not made a claim yet and hope I will not need to, but just knowing I’m covered gives me peace of mind!

It was easy getting travel insurance through

In my experience, Tick Travel Insurance attracts customers by offering very cheap premiums. However, when you actually need to make a claim, the experience is completely different.

I was asked to provide document after document, and I spent a lot of time gathering and submitting everything they requested. Despite fully cooperating, my claim was ultimately rejected based on an exclusion in the policy.

It felt like the process was designed to make claiming as difficult as possible, only to find a clause at the end to avoid paying. In my opinion, a low premium means very little if the insurer does not provide fair support when you need it most.

I would not purchase insurance from Tick Travel Insurance again, and I encourage anyone considering this company to read reviews from customers who have actually gone through the claims process, not just those who bought a policy.
