Especially the Portsmouth branch
Especially the Portsmouth branch. The door lady rolled her eyes as she was checking our tickets. So rude.
Very Unpleasant experience with some Racism involved
I had made a booking with tiger tiger Croydon for 3 people one of them was a guest. I made the booking on phone via Chris Simpsons. He mentioned that the booking done for you and see you soon. Over the call, there was no mention about 'get your ID cards' by Chris even once. To prove this, if Tiger tiger records the call for monitoring purpose I would request you check the call @ 13:28 on 28 November.
I reached the place and on the entrance we were stopped by the gatekeeper for the ID proof. My wife and I had a ID but unfortunately my guest wasn't carrying one. She offered to show a scanned copy of her passport but the gatekeeper bluntly refused. I felt really embarrassed and explained him the whole situtation. He then called for Chris to confirm my booking. Chris said yes there is a booking and he accused me of abruptly ending the call before he could mention about the ID card which was a BIG LIE as it was Chris who was actually in a hurry to end the call and not me.
In the end, we were not allowed to get in along with the false allegations and a big embarrassment in the front of my guest. I also felt that there was a racism angle involved looking at the way the whole situation was handled. Tiger tiger I hope you listening!
