Support in the uk is poor

When I decided to purchase a solar system and battery, I researched Tigo products and they seemed to stand up pretty well in the articles I read. What I didn’t realise is that the support centre is in Italy and they don’t work over national holidays. The only way to log a ticket is via a WhatsApp chat and they just ignore me, the USA seems to have a web page to at least log a ticket. I don’t have any visibility of the components via the app as most features are only visible to Tigo and the installer. I bought the expensive premium add on and it gives me nothing extra except more access to download data. The Tigos were down for most of December and part of January and the app said it was healthy each of those days when it was totally offline. The app is not secured via 2FA this is dangerous. Next time i buy a product, I would look more closely at the customer product reviews rather than press articles.

Borderline useless devices

I am deeply disappointed with both the product and the customer service provided by Tigo. The devices themselves fall short of expectations, and the backend system has serious flaws, particularly in handling user data. I initially opted for Tigo optimizers to track individual panel production and maintain access to historical performance data. Unfortunately, after a recent database update, all my historical data was lost. This completely undermines the purpose of investing in such a solution.

After reaching out to customer service, I was told that my data would be recovered. However, after months of waiting, communication ceased over a month ago, leaving the issue unresolved.

Given that I invested close to £1,000 into this system, the lack of responsiveness and reliability is incredibly frustrating. I would caution others to carefully consider these issues before investing in Tigo's products. At this stage, I cannot recommend them based on my experience.
