Loch Lomond, The Trossachs and Stirling Castle - one day tour: totally EXCELLENT in every way with Driver/Guide 'Ginger Jack'. I would be thrilled o do this same trip again, I enjoyed every moment of it, enhanced by Jack's welcome and his personality, humour, style, driving, local knowledge, information. The route and the opportunities for the additional options of the cruise on Loch Lomond and the visit to the fascinating Stirling Castle.
We did so much in one day and the timing was ideal. Now I want to return to Glasgow and to do the same one-day tour again AND to try other trips/tours in your brochure. Jack's description of the four-day tour to Skye sounds very attractive indeed.
I would happily recommend Timberbush after my experience on Monday, August 3rd: a splendd post-Commonwealh Games experience of Scotalnd, based out of Glasgow.
Thank you fora BRILLIANT DAY, Jack.

Day tour to Culloden Battlefield and Clava Cairns, Fort George and Brodie Countryfare, Cardhu Distillery, then the Cairngorms.
Martin our tour guide was fantastic. An Inverness born and bred local who shared so much of his knowledge of every area.
The Clava Cairns were a standout. Unbelievable history and such a unique and peaceful place.
The Csrdhu Distillery tour is well worth it. 12 year old malt whisky to finish the day was great.
A great tour. Thanks to Martin.
Highly recommend. 10/10

We booked the 4‑day Timberbush Tours trip (1 night in Oban, 2 nights in Portree) and were absolutely blown away – especially thanks to our guide Jack W. Jack is a great guy: very friendly, full of Scottish humour, and always attentive to what our group wanted. He didn’t just run the tour safely and professionally; he brought it to life with engaging stories, local insider tips, and genuine warmth.
The route was perfectly planned: from Oban as the “Gateway to the Isles” along the stunning west coast to the Isle of Skye, with Portree as our base. Every day offered new landscapes, fantastic photo stops, and enough time to truly enjoy each place. Jack was flexible with our ideas, knew exactly where a stop was worth it, and explained everything along the way in a knowledgeable and entertaining way.
We would 100% do this tour again – and especially with Jack as our local expert. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience Scotland’s Highlands and Skye authentically, informatively, and with lots of fun. 5 stars!

We booked the "Glenfinnan, Mallaig & Loch Ness Adventure". Our guide Mike was very nice person and made our tour very enjoyable.
We had plenty of time to explore and take pictures on all of our stops.
On the trip I was on, we were lucky to catch up with the Steam Train later on the tour after having already seeing it passing the Glennafinna Viaduct.
I highly recommend this tour.

Our day was simply delightful! We appreciated our guide's insight and information, he was very kind and helpful. We had plenty of time at each stop and enjoyed a full day of seeing the landmarks. Exceptional driving, and the playlist was on point! Would definitely recommend and use again.

You have to do this with Timberbush! It was the highlight of our 3 week stay in Scotland and England. NEIL was the best. He knew his stuff and was always giving beautiful stories, historical points, and he was more than accommodating. He helped fellow passengers with walking assist devices at every stop, put up with rowdy and fun passengers (the best part) and you could hear him and he was always open to a stupid question. The accommodations were perfect, the AC in the coach was great and the Isle of Skye was amazing. The ferry, the Harry Potter Train, castles, Loch Ness, and every scenic stop along the way will always be remembered.
Tank you Neil. We will be back.

Our driver/guide to St Andrews and Fife villages was Gary, an excellent driving historian. We both learned a lot about Scotland. Gary was kind, helpful and funny at the same time, with a fantastic sense of humour, thus, making a long day in a vehicle entertaining. He is a very safe driver who made us feel a sense of calm while driving on the way. Congrats!

This was one of the best tours I've done. Our driver Brian was the perfect tour guide going from telling us history and fun facts to being our personal stand-up comedian all while driving. If you're visiting Scotland for the first time and only have a day to explore outside of big cities, I can't recommend this enough.

We did the one day Scottish Highlands, Glencoe and Loch Ness tour with Timberbush Tours. I must say the whole tour, particularly our driver / guide, Brian, was amazing. Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The places we visited were stunning and Brian was able to mix his knowledge with humour which ensured we took notice and took in everything he was saying.
I have given this review 5 stars but would have given more if I could.

I had an outstanding experience with **Timberbush Tours**. The entire tour was very well organized, comfortable, and perfectly timed, allowing us to experience the breathtaking beauty of the Scottish Highlands without feeling rushed. Every stop was carefully chosen, and the itinerary offered a wonderful balance of scenery, history, culture, and free time to explore.
The highlight of the day was our **tour guide**. His knowledge of Scottish history, geography, wildlife, language, and local traditions was truly exceptional. What made the experience even more special was his storytelling. He didn't simply provide facts—he brought Scotland to life through fascinating historical stories, legends, humor, and engaging explanations that kept everyone interested throughout the journey. Even during the longer drives, every minute was enjoyable because of the way he connected the landscapes around us with Scotland's rich history and culture.
His passion for his country was evident in every part of the tour. He was also friendly, professional, patient, and ensured everyone felt welcome and comfortable. It is rare to meet a guide who can educate, entertain, and inspire at the same time, but he certainly did.
If you're looking for an authentic way to explore Scotland, I highly recommend **Timberbush Tours**. This was one of the best day tours I have ever taken, and I would happily book with them again on my next visit to Scotland. Highly recommended!
