Just had to screw down the splitting a warping decking.
Even the upright posts have split.
The product is not fit for purpose, the company may try to blame the installation and the fall of the decking but the material is either weatherproof or not . Poor product.
Amazing Decking For My Garden
I recently purchased decking for my project this summer (2019.) Customer service was brilliant, answered every question I had and kept in regular contact. The installation was very straight forward. Decking looks fantastic now laid and would highly recommend to my friends and family.
Horrible Product
I am in the process of renewing the flooring i bought from Timco.
Within 8 months of fitting Timco boards, the product failed miserably. They have either split, cracked, severely warped or even broke when walked upon.
I called the company and they tried to blame everyone apart from their product. It was fitted using their fixings and their instructions.
ALL their products have failed.
I wouldn't even recommend this to my worst enemy.
ITS DANGEROUS !!!!!

Had two site visits first time was because it was cracking and splitting not long after it had been fitted engineer said we will replace the cracked decking boards about 6 in total with no labour costs and I must say to replace the decking is a long job ok paid a tradesman to do this it was all good for a few months and then it all started again it’s a joke going all though that again talked to TIMCO they were not very understanding after about two months of phone calls hundreds of texts TIMCO agree too send the engineer round this time i wanted a refund for selling faulty goods well I must say they had no intention of that happening telling me it was fitted bad so I said you don’t say that on the first engineers visit don’t spend your money on this rubbish
Same as many others on here
Same as many others on here, my expensive decking is worse than wood. Splitting, buckling and snapping. Even have a hole in the middle now. Survey from Timco stated that it was due to the decking not running at a sufficient angle therefore gathering water but feel its due to the buckling. Shocking product and interestingly they don't seem to sell the hollow version any more. Wonder why!
Seems like an excellent product.
I have used the composite cladding to reclad an extension that was looking very tired. I found it very easy to fit and it looks great so far, it's on a directly south facing wall so it'll be interesting to see how it stands up to UV exposure and heat over time.
My only slight criticism is that the starter clips, used to fit the bottom plank on horizontal cladding, are much thinner steel than the other clips and bend rather easily making the fitting of the first plank a bit tricky. It would be nice to see these made from the same gauge steel.
Corner capping needs to be pre-drilled and if using countersunk screws then the holes must be countersunk too, don't skip this bit or the material will split, and I recommend trying a test piece to determine the correct torque setting as it'll still split if overtightened.
The staff themselves were very helpful when I turned up to collect the cladding, shipping was expensive for the relatively small quantity I needed so I collected it myself, they helped me to strap it securely to my roof bars and the lady was very concerned that I should make it home with everything intact. She needn't have worried!
I'll be replacing the rest of my cladding in the near future and intend to use their products again.
Unable to replace faulty goods
The ordering and delivery all fine however the corner step boards were all bent due to poor storage at the depot. Timco were unable to replace these as all goods in stock were also faulty. No compensation offered or acceptable solution offered. Were expected to use these boards as they were and reshape ourselves. This caused extra costs for labour on the job, so not best pleased.
Decking Tiles
I bought decking tiles for a patio courtyard and picked them up from the warehouse in Stevenage. Really friendly staff who loaded them into the back of my car. Great product and great service. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
Extremely high quality product, excellent advice and speed delivery
The quality is superb, solid planking and much less likely to flex when installed correctly. Great preformed steps too which give a great finish. The delivery was fast and advice readily available. Looks great down but is trickier than standard decking to lay and very heavy! I would absolutely recommend it though worth every penny
Great service
Easy to contact and speak with, good to deal with, fantastoc service
Very Good Cladding Product
Having searched the market for a composite cladding product I settled on Timco wood. A contract joiner fitted this for me to run vertically. We were very impressed with the fittings, the fact they are discreet and out of site, the ease of fitting, the ease of cutting and finish of the cut material along with the look of the finished product. I anticipate many years of maintenance free protection from this cladding.
Good Response & Good Service
Supplied exactly what we asked for, When we asked for it after we had been let down by others.
Good Product too
Great product and good service
The response to my inquiry was excellent, good guidance, the product excellent and delivery was on time
