This is without doubt the worst website…

This is without doubt the worst website I’ve had the misfortune of looking at.
Understand there is a need for a revenue stream but Christ on a bike I can’t even read the articles with all the adds and crap popping up.
Such a shame. Loved the magazine..hate their website.

No customer service

I purchased a voucher for Osteria del Mare and I had a booking for the last available Sunday but I was abroad the week before and my son caught Chicken Pox and I was unable to fly. The restaurant was inflexible about allowing me to use it on my return and told me to contact Time Out for a refund. Two emails later and no response and the phone number just cuts off.

Shallow Entertainment.

For years when I was a lot younger, I was a big fan of timeout.
During the end of the 80s an art student. Later at the end of my training, I had an exhibition which I created. It was called antipodes ,at Tannery London Bridge. I invited a friend ,a famous artist w.L. to the show. Of course he took over it and made it his own.Taking all the credit for the creation of the show,I didn’t get any credit for everything. Not one mention in timeout. I was pushed aside.
What really gets my goat? Jane Edward the editor of timeout during this time. Saw my work and called it ridiculous to my face. Because of my predictions, scientifically backed. It was an exhibition all about global warming.
In one picture it was about how London would be very hot, that we would see extreme hot temperatures due to global warming.
We need to reduce carbon admissions. we really could’ve done something back in those days to promote global warming. Sadly, it’s too late now we are heading towards uncertain future. The planet is going to heat up to point it will be too hot to live on the surface a lot of countries across the world. If the golf string collapses, it’ll be good for us I think because we’ll get colder. Jane, will you call this ridiculous now?
Just wanted you to know Jane? How wrong you were, myself and all these scientists that made these predictions have got it 100% right. promoting the understanding of global warming, Gulf-stream claps. Understanding the fragile ecosystem of marine life the affect the fisheries, marine life, coral Reeves bleaching? You need to check the subjects!
i’ve never stopped.
Stupid people like you Jane put your head in the ground. I’ve never forgotten your insult.
How horrible you are and how wrong you’ve been. This world now has been destroyed by ignorant people like yourself. Not interested in important news just shallow Entertainment.

No problems at all, would recommend

I bought vouchers for all-you-can-eat dim sum at Leong's Legend in Chinatown - it was brilliant value and everything worked perfectly. On the voucher it said to book at least 72 hours in advance, but I managed to redeem it for a booking less than 48 hours in advance. I saw lots of negative reviews after I bought the voucher which had me nervous, but my experience was completely streamline and hassle-free. No problems at all, would recommend.

Time out voucher - Invalid?!

I bought a voucher for 2 & 3 course lunch from time out. When I redeemed it , first Gordon Ramsay booking team never replied my email nor confirmed the booking.

Then I have to call the restaurant Breadstreet battersea ; they said you can’t use it on valentine day (Friday). But the T&C clearly stated you can use it any day on weekdays. The staff there is not interested and just said No. You will just lose the benefits of your vouchers if you use it on V day (which is a Friday). Appalling customer service! So disappointing!

Voucher at Time Out

I bought a voucher at Time Out for a cookery experience and every time I tried to use the voucher there was no workshop available or it was sold out. In addition, the website says that the experience voucher is valid for one year and when I finally found a workshop available, 6 months after the purchase, I couldn't use it because they said that the voucher at the time I bought it was valid for 6 months, something it doesn't say on the website.
What's more, if I'd known that all the workshops are always unavailable or full and that it's impossible to book a trial in 6 months, I would never have bought the voucher. They cheat the customer. I don't recommend it.

🟢 Update:
After my complaint, the company contacted me and we solved the situation in a way that benefited both of us. I appreciated their proactivity in approaching me.

TimeOut scam

TimeOut is happy to email spam with endless offers... I proceeded to purchase a dining for 2 offer for my wife's birthday. After reservation and confirmation made "Three Course Brunch & A Glass of Champagne For Two"... I received another email forcing me to purchase a second voucher as only 1 person was covered for the meal ???? ... Is it not illegal to advertise and sale inaccurate products and false promises ? some would even say it is a straight forward SCAM!

Did the Leong's Legend offer and it's incredible! Great Chinatown location and the food is not only delicious, there's loads of it. Definitely worth it if you can get it.

Park Plaza at Park City, UT…

Although the staff at this hotel was always apologizing because they were under construction, we were treated with every courtesy in the book. We were there for six days just relaxing and recuperating from recent medical trauma and all the staff we met were very accommodating and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable and it was nice all the way from front to back! The Shell Holborn, what a find.

Had lunch with a friend at The Shell, Holborn yesterday. Second time we have been and it did not disappoint. We both had lobster linguine which was absolutely delicious, had a bottle of house white with it a very good choice. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Will return soon!

Ripped off buying tickets via Time Out

Read a review on Time Out and followed the 'Buy ticket' link. I thought I was buying via the venue website and only realised when I got my confirmation email that it had been purchased via Time Out. Time Out had charged me an additional £7 per ticket! Really annoyed and there no possibility of cancellation either once I'd realised my mistake.

Avoid at all costs!

Avoid at all costs!
Bought tickets to see Guys and Dolls which unfortunately is during the proposed tube strikes next week and I live too far away to make it to the theatre. I called the theatre who was happy to rebook my tickets for free, but because I had purchased them through Time Out to get a "deal" -had to go through them to try to sort it out. I tried ringing the TimeOut office whose recording said that they only answered emails. I emailed them twice but still no reply. I learned my lesson the hard way- to never use this company again. Next time I'll book directly with the theatre company.

If you're reading this - please avoid

I bought a bottomless brunch deal for 3 people. £54 in total.

You have to book your table, but they do not inform you of available dates until AFTER you have bought the tickets.

Every weekend was fully booked until the expiry date of the voucher.

I requested a refund due to this reason, 10 minutes after purchasing. My emails have been ignored.

Total scam company

Total scam company. They say they are going to sell you tickets to a concert and then you never get them. They sold me tickets to Queen that legally could not be transferred and they just steal your money and give you the runaround. They are a total sham. If I could give negative stars I would.
