Having dealt with numerous solicitors over the past 30 year, for conveyancing, probate, business matters and commercial litigation, I can honestly say that working with Stephen Boyd has been unlike any other experience. It has been a genuine breath of fresh air.

Solicitors are often viewed negatively because of their charging methods, with every minute seemingly recorded on the clock. That has not been my experience when working with Stephen since October 2024. While I’m always conscious not to take up unnecessary time, Stephen never rushes our conversations and always makes me feel like a truly valued client.

I operate an energy consultancy in an extremely complex industry. Despite the many delays, especially those relating to the time it took for the Financial Ombudsman Service to begin considering our claim, Mr Boyd has always kept us informed as to its progress, or lack of it. Although disappointed with the decisions made by the FOS in terms of our full claim, we are grateful that Mr Boyd continued too act for us until a final settlement was agreed. Considering the time scale involved with our case, (2017-2024), we were also very pleased with the level of our legal costs. We cannot emphasise the expertise shown by Mr Boyd and his team and if anyone is still trying to recover the money they paid, we would recommend contacting Mr Boyd, who will provide a realistic view of achieving a positive result with your claim.
