I popped into Timpsons in Ventura Park…

I popped into Timpsons in Ventura Park Tamworth just before it was about to close for the day as the heel of one of boots had come off and I wanted them for my holiday the next day. Jason very kindly repaired them for me and I was extremely grateful.

I went to Timpson in pinner Tesco to…

I went to Timpson in pinner Tesco to cut a patio door lock key on 2 April. Unfortunately the key did not work - so I went in again today 3 April to have the key re cut. The person behind the counter seemed bored and uninterested. She asked if the key went into the lock which it did. In any event she cut me another key but you could tell she just wasn't interested. When I asked what I should do if this second key did not work her response was - come and get a refund. I did not expect such poor service from Timpson - what was more unexpected was the completely negative attitude of your shop agent. I will be going again this time to get a refund and I do not plan on using Timpson Tesco pinner again.

Don't worry, I wasn't over charged as I picked my items back up and walked out, customer lost forever, I'll be passing this attitude over to anyone I know regarding timpsons

Dropped into this branch to take two watches for a battery replacement, both are pop off and replace, very simple, done myself before
told it would take 5 minutes, was about to walk out and leave and I said so how much? the reply.....
Errr that's will be £25 per watch!

What an absolute joke! the local jewelry store is £15 for both,
Clearly timsons what to rip people off! ill avoid in the future

Badly scratched my Dune boots

I took a pair of Dune black ankle boots in for the bottom of the heels to be replaced. A simple job. The boots were scratched in two separate places and now look scruffy. Very disappointed. Caused by carelessness. I also wrote a review where Timpson ruined a jacket of mine during their dry cleaning service.

Thank you, Daniel, at Tower Park, in Poole

I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Daniel at your Tower Park Timpson store in Poole. He re-heeled my boots to an exceptionally high standard — they honestly look as good as new. Considering I bought them back in 1996, I’m amazed at the level of care and craftsmanship he put into restoring them.

Daniel was friendly, cheerful, and helpful throughout the entire process. His passion for delivering excellent customer service and maintaining such a high standard of work really stood out. He didn’t just re-heel my boots— he completely revitalised them.

On a lighter note, he even looked a bit like Harry Potter, and I was genuinely tempted to ask for a photo with him for Instagram!

I highly recommend Daniel to anyone looking for quality workmanship and outstanding service. A well-deserved five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Outrageous prices

I was silly and asked for 2 copies of two keys without checking the price. £50 !
No prices displayed in the shop. Rip off. I could have ordered them online for £5.50 each.

Had some boots resoled from them

Had some boots resoled from them. Had to take back to repair as side of resole had come away from boots. 1 month later boots were taken back again as they have completely come away from boots after they had repaired them.
That was the 1st of Feb and are still waiting for repairs to be done properly. Every week it is the same excuse.
No parts
2 to 3 week back log it is strange that the back log seems to get longer and longer every time.
I am getting the impression that they don't want to correct their mistakes.
Absolutely disgusted.

I would recommend you use somebody else because they can't cope with their workload and the workmanship is poor

I have been to the Twickenham Tesco branch of Timpson on two occasions now and both times I have had a fantastic experience, all thanks to Wendy. A fantastic employee, does not wast time while also advising on the best possible service to provide.
Watches is her main forté and will easily be able to tell you what battery you need and whether the watch needs a service.
On this occasion, she cut me a new key and was super efficient in doing so. Keep it up Wendy, thanks again!

Very poor servicr

Once again I have experienced dissatisfaction with the service at Timsons. A part of my watch which they repaired did not work after about 14 months (guarantee was for one year but I had been told that it should last 15 years)
After some discussion they agreed to replace it but now just under two years the part is again broken , the part costs about £120.
I have emailed them twice and they have failed to respond so I think all should be wary of their service as this is a totally unsatisfactory customer service for a reputable company??

I took my jacket in for a zip repair, and when returned both cuff tabs had snapped off. Had to chase customer services to get a response. Now in for them to repair again for over a month and heard nothing.

Horrible quality and way too expensive…

Horrible quality and way too expensive for a plain dogs tag. Only bought it as online wouldve taken few days to arrive .
The engraving is fading away not even in 2 weeks time 😤😤 and costs double the price online .
Do not recommend!!!!

Timpson at Sainsbury's east sussex, a gentleman named rob, I took a pair of boots that I'm very fond of, they needed resoling the sole was wearing thin, he said he wasn't sure if the soles would take because the existing sole has to be made level but he would give it a go I agreed on the understanding it might not work, guess what he succeeded, am so happy with his work, he is a polite courteous man and it's clear he enjoys his job I wrote this in hope timpsons will see this and give rob the reckonition he deserves thank you rob

Prices well overpriced

Prices well overpriced. Visited my Asda timpsons and asked price first. I thought he said £4. 95 so said yes. Wasn't until checked my receipt and saw price of £24.95. I. Returned to see if error and he said no that was price. I really would Never have paid that. Im a pensioner and struggling now like most people. No matter what I would never have agreed to pay £24.95. You are ripping customers off with prices like that. Spoken to lots of people now who have said same.

Sherman from Wembley is a Superstar

Sherman from the Wembley branch is an absolute superstar. Professional high quality work, I dropped a pair of my Crockett & Jones shoes to him and the finish on them is just as good as when it left the C&J store when I fist bought them. Accurate delivery times too, delivered within the timeframe he stated which was perfect because I was travelling

I would rate less if possible

I would rate less if possible. I sent my slightly muddy wedding dress in for dry cleaning and due to improper care, they have returned my dress damp allowing for mould to grow which can't be removed, ruining something incredibly special to me. I stupidly trusted that professional dry cleaners wouldn't do something like that and would provide reasonable care to my garment so didn't check my dress thoroughly and regularly to make sure it was in good condition once I had collected it. Once I realised after only 5 months (during this time it stayed in the garment bag and was stored in perfect conditions) I returned the dress to them to be fixed, and they won't do this or provide compensation. I wish I had never sent it to them for dry cleaning. Avoid at all costs!
