First Time Win

I came across the website and made a few entry’s, a couple of hours later I received a number of missed calls and emails to say I’d WON!! Woke up the next day to cash in my bank!! Great odds and service from the Titan team. Will continue to enter and recommend!

Legends of the competition sites

Rick and stu.
Legends.
Great hosts and always a great stream. I played for over a year without winning and didn't care in the slightest because it was all fun and the players, they aren't just numbers to them. They're people. It's personal, friendly and a whole lot of fun. Won my first prize last week. Will always keep playing.

Christmas come early!

Christmas come early! I won an oculus VR with Titan and it was delivered to me the next morning, very very quick.

First time playing with Titan and a good experience overall, I liked the number being picked from hundreds of balls, felt like I’d won the lottery. Fair draw, quick delivery, friendly guys, decent prizes, what more could you want?

I’ll definitely be playing with Titan prizes again

Popular site but the live draw setup needs tweaking

I'm reviewing this from a first-time player perspective, and trying to be constructive in my feedback.
I try most of the competition sites so have become accustomed to the draw methods and setups used, typically sites will either use a random number generator or a lottery ball system.
Titanprizes uses the lottery ball system, which is both good and bad, the good is that you can choose your own numbers from those available, the bad is that as the camera is zoomed out meaning its difficult to see what ball has been selected until it is held up to the camera.
They state they run 'skill-based' games but there are no questions to answer, simply pick a number and pay. Titanprizes also has a membership option which offers discounts on tickets and entry into member-only draws, there also seems to be bonus balls and other quirks that I couldn't really understand.

Now to the live draw, there were two ball machines on screen, a smaller one in the dead centre which was used for drawing the 'bonus ball' for the members and then a giant machine to the left of the screen for all of the draws. The host would empty canisters of numbered balls into the machine and then start it, usually having to run it again as it failed to draw a ball. Edit: This appears to be simply how the machine works. No issue.

The first issue I noticed was that the machine would select a ball but then it would run down the track and disappear off screen, the host would walk off camera and return with the ball in hand, hold it up to the camera and state the number.
I figured this was just a camera framing error and someone would rectify this but the draws continued and the regulars in chat seemed unperturbed by it.

For the next draw the host walks off camera in the same direction and returns with more balls to empty into the machine, this shows that there are balls stored off screen which as we can't see the actual ball being collected due to the camera angle, means it would be easy to fix draws for a high-spending member.

Edit to respond to the owners response:

Firstly I did not state this was a scam at all and have rated accordingly; However, as we, the audience, cannot see the path of the ball showing us the balls entering the machine is redundant and as I said causes suspicion.
I'm aware you do not 'have' to ask a question by law however without a qualifying question I am confused as to how a lottery system can be considered 'skill based' rather than random luck.

I can state categorically that I haven't confused you with another site but having re-watched the April 5th draw I believe this is simply how 'Goliath' operates, it seems to spin and then turn again to select the winning ball, I've updated this part of my review.

Rick does leave the camera shot whenever he needs to grab fresh balls off-screen, if you review April 5th draw again this occurs from 37 minutes onwards.

I'm truly glad you refute any suggestion of rigging but in this industry it sadly does happen and any time a host leaves the screen, particularly when the numbers in play are stored off camera, this throws the entire draw into question.
You've asked for alternate suggestions, perhaps using a random number generator such as Google's where you would only need to reset the numbers for each draw thus no longer requiring the physical balls or storage, just a large screen and a laptop.

I do appreciate the offer of viewing a live draw to confirm the authenticity of the draw, sadly I'm nowhere near Wigan but in appreciation of your polite response and defence of your legitimacy I have updated my review and score accordingly.

Good luck with your business!

Reply from Titan Prizes

Hi Callum
Thank you for taking the time to review Titan Prizes. Let us address some of the points in your review, if we may:

The camera is zoomed out as we have a lot to fit in to our stream, including Rick, the presenter. However, to get around this we do show a close-up of the 100 balls already above the machine and we then show every single ball in close up in tubes of 25 to the camera before we load the machine, ensuring total transparency and so you can be 100% sure your ball is in the machine.

Regarding the asking of a question, we are not required by law to ask a question to our players providing we meet certain other criteria, this applies to all competition companies and can be clarified with the UK Gambling Commission.

Regarding the ball machine failing to draw a ball, we'll assume you've got us confused with another competition company here as Goliath (our large draw machine) has never failed to draw a ball. Unless you mean it failed to find a winner? Sometimes, if a competition doesn't sell all the entries, it can produce a number that wasn't sold. If so, we just put it back in the machine and keep spinning the machine until we find a winner as we guarantee all our draws regardless of the number of entries sold.

You make a valid point about the ball running off the screen. It's not actually something we had noticed. We do a screen and sound test before we go live and we do this without the black bar of scrolling text at the foot of the screen. When we then add this to the screen it is hiding the end of the chute. We will be addressing this to ensure you can see its whole journey. Again, I'm not sure what you mean by "the host would walk off camera" - Rick never leaves the camera shot during the entirety of each draw so I think this is slightly misleading and trying to insinuate something untoward is happening, which is not the case.

Regarding your final paragraph, again I think this is extremely misleading. We only put into the machine the number of balls that are relevant to that draw, otherwise draws would take hours! There can be 20+ tubes of balls to add into the machine throughout the live draw. It's simply not possible to have all of these in shot at the same time. However, they are ALL held up to the screen and then inserted into the machine for transparency.

You say the regulars in the chat seemed unperturbed by it. This is because of the trust we've built up over 140+ draws in 18+ months and I'd say more than half of our winners are watching our live draws and comment when we announce their names. It really doesn't get much more transparent than this.

I hope our reply satisfies some of your doubts and look forward to hearing from you on email if you have anything further you'd like to discuss or if you'd like to come and visit us on any future draw day.

While we appreciate and accept the constructive feedback you've provided in your review we refute entirely the suggestion that "it would be easy to fix draws for a high-spending member". It simply is NOT. By showing the balls to the camera and holding the winning number up to the screen we believe this is as transparent as it possibly can be. Unless you can suggest a better way of doing it? If you can please email us on info@titanprizes.com and we'll happy look at this.

Also, how close are you to our location in Wigan? We would like to invite you to our premises to watch one of our live draws in the flesh from behind to camera to prove that we are totally transparent. We will cover your costs in doing this also. Please email us if this is something you'd like to look at.

Excellent service

Excellent service received after my win as a first time entry. They were on the phone to me straight after the draw and kept me updated with my prize. My prize (two platinum Merlin passes) were sent to me via email shortly after the draw. They have also kept in touch after the draw about my passes being sent to me via post. Top communication and easy going team. Happy to have had this service :)

These guys are just awesome, first time winning they rung straight after the draw to arrange everything. Couldn't believe the next day at 8.30am part of my prizes arrived and then they even went out there way to personally bring the PS5 to me in time for my sons birthday, which absolutely made his day. Not only are they doing fantastic prizes they go above and beyond and are generally buzzing for you. Thankyou so much guys xxx
