Easy to find what I needed and have it…
Easy to find what I needed and have it delivered. One of the lengths of timber was cracked and replaced quickly with no fuss. Busy time of year so delivery was not as quick as usual - otherwise 5 stars.

I bought a fan off the website that…
I bought a fan off the website that appeared in stock. It wasn’t and I was issued a refund the following week. Items shouldn’t be for sale if not available.

Slow delivery and sub standard goods
10 day delay from time of order to time of delivery, goods arrived at clients house without notification email as mentioned in order so it caught the client and myself by surprise, some goods not delivered as the local branch 'forgot' to load it on the truck, timber ordered was sub standard and had to be replaced - long split in the wood, some goods were incorrectly supplied and I had to make several trips to the local branch to correct this, I was given no option to click and collect as the stock I needed was obviously not available in the local branch this leaves me wondering why I had to have a delivery in the first place that was incorrectly supplied when I had to make several trips to the local branch to complete this order

Worst customer service ever
I am very disappointed with the way my return was handled. I was sent from the front office to the warehouse and then from one person to another, no one was willing to take responsibility.
, I was sent away. He did not buy my item, giving the excuse that it was a Saturday The staff were willing to buy the item but one person said that he would not give me a rating docket. The behavior was completely inhumane..
The unnecessary back and forth and the remarks made were disappointing, I felt disrespected as a customer. Customers should always be treated with dignity and respect.
I would like to bring this feedback to the attention of the warehouse employee and the warehouse manager responsible for issuing the return docket, so that other customers do not have a similar experience in the future.

It was my first time to deal with a TJ O'Mahony store. I dealt with the store in Prosperous, Co Kildare. I travelled 1 hour for an item but didn't realise the store closed at 5, I arrived a few minutes after 5 when the warehouse staff were leaving. They kindly went back to the warehouse to get my order and for that i am very thankful

Ordered and paid for an air conditioner…
Ordered and paid for an air conditioner unit. Stock was available.
I got a confirmation email that it was ready for pick up.
Then a couple of hours later I get an email from store saying no longer available.

Online ordering is poor
Online ordering is poor , you get a confirmation that order has been received and charged , and that were it ends no lead time on delivery just a vague message that there are in a busy period and order may take longer than usual . I organised order to be collected and they didn't have the stock , so swapped for similar product , then I was left short a sheet of warm board which took two weeks to be delivered after constant emails and phone calls. I gave the benefit of doubt and decided to order again this time I would collect , same happened order confirmed and charged but no lead time on collection . 2 emails sent no response and a week later I make contact with the branch chasing down the order , they advise that there is no problem it should be ready , when it was collected they where again short an item again no call made to me . I had to contact them again to get a refund. website is really good and easy to navigate , but if your project is time sensitive go direct to branch ,online delivery and collection are a waste of time .
