DONT USE THIS COMPANY

I cannot emphasise strongly enough to steer clear of this company.

To put it simply, I entrusted them with my van for a wrap, body kit installation, and trim painting. Initially, they promised to complete the job within 3 weeks, but after 19 weeks, all I had was a partially wrapped van with no body kit and disassembled trim. I had no choice but to seek the assistance of another detailer to salvage the mess.

Even after a year, I was only able to recover some of the extra expenses through a tedious claims process. It's truly foolish of me to have believed Jonathan's empty reassurances of timely completion. This individual has absolutely no understanding of customer service or how to manage a business. If you value your vehicle at all, I implore you to take your business elsewhere.

Do not use this company

It’s hilarious that Jonathan (and his ego) try to make out all his bad reviews must be from fake profiles.
He obviously can’t accept that he’s just not that good at his job and he’s got a terrible attitude. I still have all my emails from him as proof.
He lied to me, when I pointed this out he tried to tell me I was wrong and the tried to tell me what I could or couldn’t afford knowing nothing about me.

Avoid these people at all costs. There are far better, nicer people you can give your money to that will do a much better job.
Ask your official car dealer and they can’t point you in the right direction for car detailing.

These guys cut corners and if you mention that they’ll just try lie to cover it up and they definitely don’t care about customer service.

Don’t use - not professional better and cheaper elsewhere customer service very poor

Wrapped a Panamera, said would take around 7days - I booked a hire car for 10 still not ready, the wrap is ok but did not do the door interiors as requested - to save time I’m sure - does not look great. Said the mirrors and roof rack could not be wrapped - found out differently since.

Johnathan seems to try and blame the customer (wanting car back - making him rush etc) badges never put back on, said the paintwork was not good enough and sent them back - I gave him 5 weeks advance notice when I was heading back - halfway to Stirling I get a call the badges are not back... I turn around and say ok I’ll bring it in a weeks time, dropped off the car and when I came the next day to get it, he said badges were not good enough so sent back again !! He had my car 24 hours - said he put on a second ceramic coating I am in doubt - remember no badges - so he promised to come up to my house one Saturday to do it - of course on the Friday after I asked what the plan was I get a call saying no transport and sick relatives, at this point - I went on line and spent 200 pounds on new badges and a detailing company in Perth put them on in 10 minutes and after hearing my story refused to charge me.

I cannot in good faith recommend TLC, I don’t know what damage might be underneath - will see but will have PTW in Perth remove wrap and rewrap if I want, he has quoted me 30% cheaper than TLC who inflate their bill once they have your car captive.

Extremely unprofessional

Extremely unprofessional, if you have an issue after your car is wrapped they will not look after you! I've had two cars wrapped here and both had issues. More so latterly the second car. The first car I had broken clips and a broken car handle. Unfortunately I 'thought' the owner was a friend and I didn't have the heart to stand up for myself, second time around wrap held well but when I said I was getting it unwrapped I had numerous messages sent asking me to let them unwrap it and that the people unwrapping it would go over the car with a fine tooth comb. The messages had me worried as they seemed worried...A fine tooth comb was not required as we found near enough £2k of damage to my car. A 2016 BMW m2. Where they removed the carbon fibre lip on the boot lid the paint work was down to the metal all lacquer gone, I have a picture of it sitting in their workshop after it was removed and it still puzzles me till this day why it ended up in such a state. I contacted Jonathan and was told that it would 'polish out' I'll let you decide from the pictures. I then found blade marks along my bodywork to which he has never responded to they particular pictures to this day. The front bumper had been repainted which I was aware of, when the wrap was removed large bits of paint came away I was told this was MY fault as I wanted the car in time ?! So instead of the professional knowing how long it takes and booking it in on time , I'm in the wrong for wanting my car back after nearly 3 weeks!!! Then after blaming me Jonathan said 'you can't really see where the paint has came off anyway' again I'll let you all make your own mind up. The car required priming, sanding, full front bumper and rear bootlid respray with blending. It doesn't end there though despite all the damage to my bodywork the day after I had it wrapped the car was taken into BMW as something didn't feel right they found masking tape wrapped around the breaks. Then in the May/June someone bumped into the back of me the car was put on a ramp to find my whole rear diffuser was left hanging off , bolts missing, bolts snapped etc I immediately sent Jonathan a video (view @beachbluem2 instagram) which I still have and he replied 'It wasn't me, it was the guys who put it back together and they're not here anymore?' Do you see a pattern forming here it's never his fault. I am a former business owner and from experience any jobs that go out the door would be overseen and checked by me. Why this isn't the case at TLC Detailing I'll never know. They are quick to revel in the glory but no where to be seen when it all goes wrong and to the poor young lads standing by him they don't realise they're getting the brunt of the blame. My last encounter with Jonathan was when he explained to my partner and I he had to babysit the two young lads because he didn't feel comfortable with some of their work? I was told because I allowed someone else to unwrap it I didn't have a warranty. Let me make this clear as a customer of TLC Detailing twice , I am aware the wrap manufacturer has a warranty that's fine but TLC Detailing never mentioned any warranty what so ever there was a promise to help if things went wrong but there was NEVER any warranty covering damage to my body work. I stood and watched the car get unwrapped and all that damage had been covered up. To this day Jonathan stands by that his staff who left broke parts on my car that's not his issue. And because I wanted my car after 3 weeks maybe even 4 I cannot recall after sitting for a good while doing absolutely nothing cause of instead of waiting till the wrap comes in your car is left waiting for the wrap it was my fault that the paint lifted because I wanted my car back (after I had been promised it) and I was told wrap lifts both factory paint and repaired paint also. Jonathan in this case does not make risks clear to customers.
a friend or professional businessman wouldn't cause 2k of damage and not repair it. Business is business.

Nearly a year on this company continues to post picture of my car they damaged for financial and business profitability aswell as continuously sharing my private number plate online. Extremely unprofessional not even having the decency to protect my private registration.
