Order never arrived, no meaningful response, and paid for Tracked48 delivery

I placed Order 12/12/2025 and paid for TRACKED48 delivery, but the order still never arrived.

The order was later marked as “on its way” on 24/12/2025 and a Royal Mail reference was provided, but that did not resolve anything because the parcel was never actually received. I also raised concerns directly and did not receive a proper resolution.

This was especially frustrating because the item was intended as a Christmas gift, and the delivery timeframe paid for was clearly not met. Based on my experience, the main issues here are poor communication, missed delivery expectations, and failure to resolve a missing order properly.

The company needs to improve its dispatch reliability, communication with customers, and handling of missing orders. Customers should not have to chase repeatedly or consider chargebacks just to get a basic resolution.

Wouldn’t recommend

Order never arrived and no response to messages

I ordered some dipping toasting sets as Christmas presents on the 9th December. I had an email from the company saying they had dispatched and would receive by the 19th however, I never got Royal Mail tracking information. Safe to say it is now the 18th January and I still have not received it. Emailed 3 times, Facebook messaged and used their chat twice on their website and have not had a single response back from them. It’s very disappointing as even though Christmas had passed I still wanted the kits but due to not replying to my messages the only thing I can do now is request a charge back on my card. Such a shame as some of the reviews are lovely but you can’t just not respond to messages about missing orders when people have paid. Currently I have paid the £50 and have nothing to show for it. Such a shame!

Dont waste your money

Took 3 weeks to receive my order, I sent several emails but didn't get a response. It was for my sons birthday and after reading the item would be despatched within 3 days I thought I'd ordered in ple anty of time ...I was wrong.
The marshmallow toasting kit was packaged nicely and first impressions were good, but when we went to use it we realised what a waste of money the set was. It says to open the burner lid by hand, this was impossible, we had to get scissors and gently pry all around the lid, which once removed was really sharp. Beware when lighting the gel it ignites really quickly , there was no warning and its actually quite dangerous. Putting the flame out was also quite hard as the lid has to be fully on meaning there is flames constantly coming out of even the tiniest gap. The chocolate and sprinkles were fine but the marshmallows were stale, the outside had gone crispy, although once toasted this wasn't noticeable. All in all this kit was a complete waste of money and you could buy the stuff yourself for less and get more.

A great kit for a get together

A really lovely product, we had a great time using this over Christmas with the family. We also got a free hot chocolate kit with the order which was lovely. Also the vegan kit is really nice, lovely chocolate and biscuits.
It seems like there were some issues with delivery for some people. I’d say give them a try though. I think they’ve underestimated the amount of orders they’d get over Christmas. I collected mine as I’m local, and they were such a friendly business to go into. I could see they were extremely busy but I think it’s so important to support small and local businesses.

Extremely disappointed

Ordered the Christmas S’mores box on 1st December. I emailed to check delivery as it appeared to be taking a while and was told it was shipped on 15th December. I also received an email confirming dispatch via Royal Mail Tracked 48.

However, Royal Mail tracking shows the parcel was never received into their network, and all communication from this company has completely stopped, leaving me out of pocket and without my order.

Extremely disappointing when you’ve been wanting to give a company a try and are then let down so badly.

06/01/2026 – Update: I have continued to receive absolutely no response from the company and have now reported the matter to Trading Standards via Citizens Advice for breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

I have used this company many times and…

I have used this company many times and I have always been really pleased with their products until my purchase on the 4th of December which still hasn’t arrived. It’s been marked as dispatched via Royal Mail on 24 hour delivery but the tracking hasn’t updated. Zero communication or replies to my contact. I am now missing a Christmas present for my friends. Extremely disappointed!

Poor communication

Having ordered multiple times from this company I placed another Christmas order this year on the 10th December, paying for 48hr postage due to the 6-7 working days until posted. We are now 9 working days (13 days) since and it is not even showing as shipped. No email to notify or give option to cancel given no chance of pre Christmas delivery now happening. So disappointed, totally understand that they are a small business but should have stopped orders when they realised they couldn’t provide delivery in the timescale promised

Great product, communication needs work

They are a good product, and reasonably priced.
My only issue is that with the big influx of orders with Christmas, it was nearly three weeks from ordering to delivery. I don't hold that against them at all, I only would have appreciated an email stating the delay rather than just putting up a message on their website.

Terrible experience with this company

Terrible experience with this company. Would rate 0 stars if I could. I placed an order on the 6th of December and was told it would take 6-7 days to process the order before it was dispatched, that would have been the 16th of December. We are now on the 22nd and I have not had a single update. I have contacted them on their live chat, online contact form and email, and had no response at all on any platform.
I appreciate they may be a small business, but that is no excuse, if they overwhelmed with orders, STOP TAKING THEM! Even if I’d have had an update to say there was a delay, I could have sorted out an alternative, as we are now 3 days before Christmas I can only assume I will not be receiving my order in time and now have no time to order from elsewhere.

Avoid!!!

Have previously ordered from these guys and everything was spot on, however I won't be ordering again!! Ordered the kit on the 3rd of Dec, took until the 14th for anyone to be in touch, at which point they sent a general to all email that said they'd had issues but all orders would be dispatched within 72 hours maximum. Still waiting for a dispatch note 5 days later, emailed twice to no avail. Understand things happen but could of had something else sorted if they'd just said, now I'm scrabbling for my niece a birthday present for tomorrow! Avoid!!

Misleading delivery times and zero customer service

Small business seems very busy at Christmas

Just adding this review as I was a little stressed when I saw all the negatives that have gone on lately.
I ordered on 4th December and it clearly stated that it would be 6-7 working days before dispatch. On the 7th working day I checked the website and it said clearly on the front page that the company is working very hard to dispatch orders in time for Christmas and dispatch would be 8-10 days. My order was dispatched on day 8 and arrived today (1 day later).
It's sad to see so many 1 star reviews of a small business that is clearly having a struggle. They may have over-estimated their capability to deal with festive orders, but that doesn't make the company a scam.
I am happy with my purchase and would order again.

I placed my order on the 4th wanting it before I went away for Christmas and the order isn't even showing as shipped... so I am hoping my order actually arrives and if not I am hoping I get my money back. No order four weeks after ordering, although charged straight away! Chasing emails x3 so far with no response to any of them. Send me my order or refund my money!! No help from Not on the High Street either.. you can’t just say contact the seller, take some ownership of the shocking companies that you are in business with.
