Disappointing Gift

Decided to write my review on here as you can’t do it on the actual website unless you go through them and they write it for you 🙄 I received my order of the personalised Toblerone and was very disappointed, The message and photo is under the outer package not the main Toblerone , When you slide the Toblerone out of the outer package which you would instantly do ( Possibly throw away) you don’t even see the personalised bit, I had to contact them and then they showed me where it was 🤦🏼‍♀️ Very disappointing £15 with p&p is not a value for money when you can get a bigger Toblerone in the supermarket for £10

Ordered the 4.5kg extremely large…

Ordered the 4.5kg extremely large chocolate bar for a family friend visiting for Christmas and a small bar. Only the small bar arrived at my door. Toblerone checked this with Royal Mail which was confirmed lost. They resent one out tracked and free of charge. This arrived damaged and took photos of this to send them. Later confirming I’ll be receiving a full refund of this item taking 3-5 business days. Waited 2 weeks, still nothing. Contacted them again and processed the refund and still nothing in my account. It’s been sent over to ‘finance team’. We’re still waiting over 2 months on.
Been charged my PayPal for a late payment purely because of this.
AVOID WEBSITE AT ALL COSTS!

Just a rip off

Just a rip off, I didn't realise hoe much a bar of toblerone was in the shops, you charge 3 times over the shop prices for a name on a box!! I thought I'd ordered the 750g bar, your small print at the bottom saying 360g is in the wring place, like you want to mislead and rip people off, never buying from you again

Worst company ever

Worst company ever, ordered one and after a week when I started to asked them where’s my order, I received a mail next day to tell me that my order was lost in shipping.. are guys for real?And now I have to wait maybe another week for a replacement with no complementary or so,you guys are joke. Was a present for my wife for our 20 years anniversary.. you guys are a joke. I don’t recommend them at all.

Tobler-wrong!!! 😬

Ordered a personalised orange chocolate Toblerone and paid over £20 inc delivery. Waited over a week having received an order confirmation- nothing arrived in the timescale so I emailed their Uk customer service. Yesterday the order still said processing … 8 days after the order. My friend had been told to look forward to something in the post… just a bit of thank you for a valued friendship!
Today (day 9) I got on to their chat and at half an hour into the chat they told me they cancelled the order. No stock … so they offered an apology - nothing arrived! No sensible offer to resend and goodwill gesture … I had to push back - not really great service on an overpriced personalised fun treat - instead disappointed and when I asked for an explanation as to why I hadn’t received an email saying it was out of stock they had no clue! Yes I’ve checked my spam… blah blah. They then offered free delivery £2.99 but still makes the gift £17 for a bar of chocolate Toblerone…hmm why has customer service disappeared… I hope that you think twice before ordering a luxury priced gift and get treated like your an interruption to their day!

Waste of money - disappointing personalisation

Unable to give personalised 200g Toblerone to the intended recipient as the font used for the message is tiny and mismatched to the size of the text box. It looks misprinted. It's actually the same size font as the barcode but had space to be much larger. Waste of money as it's now just an expensive Toblerone.

Poor Customer Service and Bogus Discounts!

Pretty awful live chat customer service agents that just keep cutting you off rather than trying to resolve queries. Also offering discounts on various schemes and even their own site that they won’t honour. I can really see why their reviews are so poor! Stick to Lindt or Cadburys!! 😉

Simply dreadful - avoid at all costs!!

Where do I even start? I hit up Toblerone.co.uk thinking I'd snag some Easter treats, but the site was a nightmare. It kept crashing, and when it wasn't crashing, it was slower than a tortoise in peanut butter. Finally got my order through after what felt like ages, and then... radio silence. No updates, nothing.

Fast forward over a week, I'm sitting here Easter egg-less and wondering what's going on. Then boom, out of the blue, they cancel my order. The day before Easter! No eggs, no explanation, nothing. Just a "sorry, not sorry" vibe. Had me scrambling last minute to sort out alternatives.

And get this, it's not just me. Their online reviews are a dumpster fire. Wish I'd checked those out before I bothered. You'd think a big name like Toblerone would have their act together online, but nope. Total letdown.

Won't be caught dead using their website again. Save yourself the headache and avoid at all costs.

Possible pest issue unresolved?

Ordered 3 personalised eggs. When recieved 1 had packaging and the egg eaten through by something, possible rodent?... I sent a picture and requested a refund for all 3 and happy to send all back. Was refunded for 1 and refused for the others even though something nasty could have been near them. Would not buy again.

Ordered 24th November

Ordered 24th November. Payment taken immediately, though it said payment would not be taken until dispatch. Nothing has arrived for Christmas. £51 odd taken over 4 weeks ago , but nothing to show for it.

Letters veey very tiny

The letters on the personalised box are so little so you can barely see them. Same as ingridents letters. It wasnt worth for me as my the person who i bought that to actiollay was not able to see them until i told her. Also to add to this, my wife and sons had one or two chocaletes ,both complaint about having stomach ache. Not confirmed yet that this is from Toblerone ,but most likey. I will sent the chocolates for analysis for sure

Tragic Toblerone

Purchased a large Toblerone and found the content to be mostly air, sent complaint and was awarded a £3 compensation voucher. When cashing it in I noticed that it was well below the original purchase price so wrote back to them, sent me another voucher for £1 "company policy" note it still falls short of the £5 I originally spent! It's now more of a matter of principle, a derisory gesture serving only to increase the level of customer dissatisfaction and disappointment from their "Consumer Care Team" - very poor customer care in my humble opinion.

Complete RIP-OFF

It is a complete RIP-OFF!
Wanted to buy a personalised Toblerone bar for a friend and it turned out to be 4 times the price of same bar in normal shops (apart from shorts personalised message and cover).
Come on Toblerone, you can do better than this!

Took forever to arrive and poor quality when it did

Very disappointed in this company, love toblerone but I’ll just get it from the shop next time. Ordered personalised gifts for valentines and they didn’t show up until the afternoon of. The mini chocolate bars were scattered around in the delivery box with squashed cartons/boxes. To add to this, the best before date has only 2 months left, so it looked like I’d bought them from a seconds or factory outlet.

I contacted CS to let them know i wasn’t very happy and they just shrugged it off and told me basically to ‘expect poor quality’ - I advised them I am leaving an honest review based on my experience but they weren’t in the slightest bit bothered.

The large caramel bar

The large caramel bar I thought I'd try was disgusting. It was sickly and I couldn't bear to finish even one piece. I've offered the rest to numerous people who have all declined. Obviously they had prior knowledge. It is really the worst bar of whatever I've ever tasted. I want my money back.

Well, after contacting their so called customer support, I got a voucher to show their "concern and goodwill". It was for £3.00. Not even the value of the bar I'd bought. That's the end of Toblerone for my family and friends if that's how they treat their customers. Watch out for other reviews on their sites.

Golden Caramel

Waited over two weeks for my order to then receive an email saying it’s been cancelled even though I’d chased it several times as stated 3-5 days and was reassured it was being processed and I’d receive it by the end of this week!
No refund!! Customer services don’t answer the phone!

Slow to dispatch and delivery currently unknown 7 days since my order. Wouldn't mind apart from have paid nearly three times price of normal Toblerone for the gift packaging, now concerned gift won't arrive in time for recipient. Expect better for the price.
