Ann has been really great in fascilating a world or bsl through songs, objects, stories and sheets for my son who was 9-11 months during his time with toddle talk.
I was a bit anxious having an active crawler but Ann made us so welcome. Even given me the passion to start learning bsl myself! Look forward to joining her courses again in the future.

My son and I joined the baby massage class when my son was 3 months old. Ann made us feel very welcome and showed me some great techniques to relax my son. It was also great to meet other mums in a relaxed setting and it was always lovely to have a cuppa and a biscuit at the end of the class.
We then continued with the baby sign class which was lots of fun combining songs with sign language. The classes made such a big difference to my maternity experience and I can’t thank Ann enough!

The training is distance learning to begin with, I was sent all relevant information and has skypes with the course leader, Ann. I could also message or email her any time with any questions. The final part of the course is a training weekend, which is a good mix of theory and practical. You are then assessed on the last day for BSL 101 and have a taster class to co-run. Ann is supportive at every stage, including after the course, providing support to set up and run your classes.

Newly passed BSL101 & completed my Toddle Talk training weekend to become an instructor - I can firmly conifrm that the course was enjoyable and knowledgable. Ann Lay has provided a thorough & meaningful resource pack to ensure you will have everything you need to begin your own classes. Support & ongoing guidence at your own pace. My own toddler loved attending taster sessions.

Toddle Talk Teacher training was a fantastic training course where I learnt so much and it gave me more confidence to in my own classes. Ann was excellent at delivering the course and extremely helpful and kind. Thank you!

I recently completed baby signing training with Toddle Talk and it was excellent! The course leader Ann, was full of enthusiasm and expertise. I was also lucky to be able to experience a taster session delivered by Ann with my seventeen month old son. We both thoroughly enjoyed it and I was amazed at how quickly he repeated the signs we were using in the songs and rhymes. It was a fun, interactive, musical session that had the added benefit of being educational and beneficial too. If I wasn't training to become a Toddle Talk instructor, I would definitely be looking to join a class in my local area. I would recommend Toddle Talk to both parents/carers who wish to develop their baby's communication skills and to adults thinking about training to be an instructor. Thank you Ann for an intense but highly enjoyable course.

I completed the instructor training course and can happily recommend this company. Ann, owner of toddle talk is very approachable and used a variety of different teaching methods . The course also provides a handbook for reference. Also present was Jane , who taught us British Sign Language and was fab in helping us learn intensively. As a result of this course, I feel confident to be an instructor.

Fantastic course. Teaching strategies to suit every one of our learning styles. Never thought I could learn so much in just 2 weekends. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Ann the owner of toddle talk kept everything interesting by incorporating practical and theory in fun ways. Jane the BSL teacher was brilliant too and I was amazed at how much I picked up.
All in all a fantastic course and I now feel more than equipped to start my classes as soon as possible!!

I'm really pleased with the experience I've had with Toddle Talk. I searched for a training provider of baby sign language to go along side my baby business and was really impressed with the ethos and approachability of the owner Ann. The pre course learning pack gave us a good foundation to start and the two weekends have been both fun and informative. The BSL trainer was great fun too.

Excellent application process..easy flexible and fun. Good standard of pre learning activity and easy assessment strategies. Fun, friendly, informative developing course ran over 2 weekends. Good amount of work load in multiple formats (suitable for all preferences). Ann, the instructor and owner of Toddle Talk is friendly, supportive, flexible and open to new ideas. Sign instructor great too. Excellent all round..passed first time and more than well equipped to launch own new business straight away following course.

I've have been going to toddle talk with my 14 month old for some time now and highly recommend it. Ann is a lovely teacher and very good with all the children my son and I both always enjoy her classes.
Even before the little ones are actually using the signs I really feel both myself and my little boy get a lot out of it. My son loves the singing and it has helped him to learn about interacting with other children of various ages. There is also no need to worry if your little one won't sit still for long as they are free to toddle about.
Would definitely recommend!
