Installed a battery on the solar array, very tidy, good reactions when things didn't go according to plan. Everything now working. Friendly guys on site.

Writing this review on behalf of my not computer literate father.
The initial install was fine and very professional, after the scaffold was removed however we noticed several windows had been damaged and a cctv camera was broken.
we are also after several months still waiting for the documentation so that we can export energy to the grid.
Very difficult to get any answers or resolution to these issues. It seems like once they have your money they have no more interest in you or your problems

Excellent sales from Kashir , I was in two minds but reassured me in every way this was a good deal.
The installation was excellent and the electrician on site was superb at sorting the issues out.
All in all very happy

Competitive Price, on my Solar & Battery installation, good communication from quotation through to installation team. Installation neat and tidy. Would happily recommend this company.

I googled solar panels as I wanted 5 quotes, I think it was green energy that I viewed, filled in my details, thinking that it was a solar company, how wrong I was I was called repeatedly from other solar companies. Tomato 🍅 homes was one, wanted my wife in at the time so said forget it, anyway had a salesman visit me. What should have been 30 mins went on for over 1 hour, he was polite but definitely sales patter all through conversation. Quoted next day at over £12,000. Having same job done by local company with 10/10, 72, 5 star reviews, for £9,500. Hope it helps

Terrible phone tatics and concerned about a hard sale.

Wanted both my wife and I to be available for a quotation visit, when I said this wasn't possible easily I was asked if I was the decision maker, I mentioned it would be a joint decision.

It's company policy to have both there felt like this is for a hard sale tactic and to not give you time to review.

Decided not to have a quote and go no futher with tomato.homes.

Just awful!
My 2 day install to 8 days and 1 month later still doesn't work properly.
The installers were always leaving to go to other sites and to top it off the drilled through the ceiling in the bedroom.

1 month on and my install still doesn't work correctly and I've had no paperwork or instructions on how the system works

Once I signed the contract on April 2023 and paid the deposit, I never heard anything for two months then I decided to call them but couldn’t speak to anyone and no one would return my calls it is now August 28 and still have no solar panels or even an installation date.
I have asked for my deposit back but they refused to give me my deposit back and refused to communicate with me.
I have now put a court claim

Our installation happened so fast, it took us by surprise when the scaffolder arrived! In less than 3 weeks from signing with David Mulbon (1 week of which we were away on holiday) all is working and we have not used any imported electricity since.

Amazing sales team has been chasing and updating and giving great advice. However, the moment the contract was signed it was as if you didn't exist. Unless you call to follow up there is no update or communication available. And every time you are told that someone will call you back, that never happens. It's been over 2 months since the contract is signed and I'm still waiting for the installation date even though all other steps are completed. Really disappointed.

We have had a very positive and excellent service from tomato homes all throughout, such great team and fantastic communication from staff members and always there to help when needed. I highly recommend tomato homes.

Since I have joined this company the service I am getting is excellent.
On top of that I am being informed timely what is happening on energy market globally,especially in light of Ukraine and Russia war.

I thought this company would go bust during the last crisis, but it managed to surviv . What matters most is the unit price and the daily standing charge witch is lower than other. Customer care not bad I am happy and recommend them.

It’s a great savings on bills and effective to use by generating own electricity.

I was recently contracted by Tomato Homes regards Solar panels and battery storage. I spoke with there internal technical adviser David. He did a great job in talking me through how the Solar panels would look on my property and also went into great detail around payback and costings. We decided to go with Tomato Homes. They were not our cheapest quote but they way that we were dealt with by David and then Lindsey who booked our survey and then the installation was such a smooth process. Install went ahead without a glitch and would highly recommend this company
