Simply the worst experience I've had eating in Germany!
Tonkin is a cash only restaurant which we knew beforehand. When we ordered we asked for the amount, so that I could go and withdraw money from an ATM. The food was 37€ so I withdrew 40€.
When the food came I asked if I could get some more tofu, the waitress said "no problem, but it's gonna be 2€ extra" which was fine as we had 3€ spare from the 40€.
When we got the bill it was 41.60€ instead. We asked the waitress about it, and she said "well, my boss said the tofu was 4.60€". We explained that going to withdraw more money would incur another fee of 4€ and we didn't think it was fair since it was the restaurant that had made the mistake. But there was nothing they could do they said. Luckily a nice couble gave us 2€ so we didn't have to withdraw more money, but I've never experienced such a bad service! We are not interested in eating there ever again, when they are so petty and greedy.
Oh, and the food was pretty mediocre so if you don't care about being overcharged for a mistake that isn't yours, I still wouldn't eat there.
