Looks the part but hasn’t got the guts to knock in 100mm posts 2ft in the ground even when the holes are dug with a bar 2ft, 60mm augered and watered. Plus after using it for about 20 min trigger time, the carb fell off due to the bolts coming loose. Also…..the cup could do with being 120mm to allow for any inconsistencies in the posts. Ended up doing 120 meters with the manual post knocker. Save your money, use a manual post knocker and build muscle at the same time!

I brought to use on a small equestrian livery yard. Prior to buying I either had to get in a contractor or use a manual post knocker. I am not a strong guy and where I could put in 5 or 6 posts before getting tired on my ground, I can put in up to 25 with the Sealey before needing a break. I reckon someone with reasonable upper body strength could do maybe 35 comfortably in similar ground? Started first time, easy to use. I found using a 1 step platform helped, as does having a second person to help line up post etc. No chewing up the ground with a tractor, easy under trees. For small jobs, or doing a longer run over time this works better than I had hoped. A really useful tool, no regrets buying it.
