Shocking service
Great for selling you a car, absolutely awful at fixing any issues.
I have been without use of my car for
Over 2 months as they dealership are unable to see it for a repair under warranty.
This is the second time in 13 months the car has had an engine light on with loss of power and has been unusable.
According to Toomey’s the car was fixed the first time it was seen but then 4 months later I am back in the same situation.
No empathy for my situation and how it is now costing me money and untold amounts of issues and stress due to not having a vehicle.
Called in the first week of July to book the car in , to be told that the vehicle can been seen in the middle of September.
I am not allowed to let Peugeot customer care ( through my warranty) recover the car in before my appointment date, even after explaining that I would be at work on the appointment date as it is mid week so arranging it for a date earlier would be a huge help for me.
Absolutely shocking experience so far and as I said zero customer care, help or empathy.
I also have since found out I am not the only person to experience these kind of issues.
Wish I had known sooner.

We understand your concern regarding the time taken to secure an appointment. Your vehicle is currently booked into our Southend Peugeot Service Centre for 16 September, where our technicians will investigate the faults you have reported and establish the cause before determining the appropriate repair.
We have also arranged a courtesy vehicle for the duration of the appointment. Unfortunately, courtesy vehicles are in high demand and are often booked several weeks in advance, which has contributed to the lead time for this appointment. We can continue to review whether we can accommodate the vehicle sooner, although an earlier appointment may not have a courtesy vehicle available.
We appreciate that this does not remove the inconvenience you have experienced, and for that we are sorry. We hope that, once the vehicle has been inspected, we can identify the cause of the issue and work towards getting you back on the road as soon as possible.

I booked my Motobility car in for a service
I booked my Motobility car in for a service, online, with Toomey Peugeot, Southend. Very simple to do and had a reply a few days later with a time to be there. As i was going to wait until my car was finished the appointment was for 9 am, just right. Desk staff were polite and handled everything perfectly. Especially liked the short video from under my car. As an ex mechanic it’s nice to see. All in all a very satisfying experience.

Turned up on the wrong day for a service and MOT, I had booked a week later. By that time the MOT would have expired and my wife may have killed me. Thankfully, Toomey Peugeot managed to fit me in the same day. Could not fault them or the service they provided.
