The updated web version of Topaz is terrible, and came right in the middle of the photography busy season—which really disrupted my workflow. When I go to fix an image with soft focus, it auto denoises, and to a very high amount. The images are artificial and plastic looking. They’re basically unusable after running through topaz. I’d rather have the focal point soft than looking how they do. They also get a black edging which just makes them look terrible. Please change this back.
It was horrible. Super slow, poor results, handicapped apps such as bloom that didn't offer full functionality. Cancelled subscription wait wasn't even close to what I was looking for.
Bought it but couldn't access it, so cancelled it. Very disappointed.
I am 50 perception satisfied, some photos are not proceced and some takes long time.
In fact, I only use Topaz web, which is very efficient and practical.
I like the quality and additional options. I would like, for the same monthly price of $9 to be able to upscale by at least x 6
The online app hangs at around 80 percent while I am trying to use the service. Very frrustrating indeed and not worth paying for.
Unknown. Needs WAY better tutorials and/or pop up screens to explain in practical terms what the choices and functions are. Seems incomplete and inconsistent as it stands, or assumed WAY too much prior use of Topaz products. Makes it VERY hard for someone with decent experience like PS or Apple Photos to understand yours. I also HATE the upselling. Please get ALL those choices off the product use related screens. Focus on training and use in the product. It's a big negative and like to drive me elsewhere longer term. Customers are not "upsells" and "revenue streams" when they are actively using your product--which is how you come off.
I have already sent my experience on Topaz Image Web. Planning to discontinue the monthly subscription.
The results for some images I upscaled were worse than the originals. The images were enlarged but lost a lot of detail.
Good product at a fair price.
