Second time one used neil. Fantastic work, car looks like new.
I am writing to express my extreme frustration with the service I received at this garage. Based on their reputation, I trusted them to replace a car door handle. The agreed price for labor and painting was £175 (I provided the part).
The experience was a disaster from start to finish:
Incompetence & Delays: My wife dropped the car off and was told it would take 30 minutes. After waiting over an hour, she was told they "couldn't fix it."
Damage to Vehicle: When we handed the car over, the central locking button on the handle was fully functional. When we got it back, the wiring was snapped. The garage claimed they "don't have the license" to fix electrical wiring, yet they clearly damaged it during the attempted installation.
Unfair Charges: Despite failing to fix the handle and actually breaking the internal wiring, they still charged my wife £75 for the paint job.
Poor Communication: If the mechanics realized they couldn't complete the job or found a "pre-existing" issue, they should have called me before proceeding with the painting. Instead, they finished the paint, broke the wire, and demanded money for a job that is now a "half-finished" mess.
When I asked for a refund, they refused and claimed the wire was already broken—which is a complete lie as the locks worked perfectly before they touched it.
Needed a repair to Car park dent in tailgate of my Car.
Absolute top notch service from Kev, brilliant job, would fully recommend
Brilliant all round service. Car is an old model and parts not easy to find, needed a new wing. They found the right part, repaired it and went above and beyond. Fixed the bumper in and fixed and sprayed the drivers door. Looks like new. Daughter is extremely happy as she loves that car. Would most definitely recommend and use again.
I tried a couple of repair shops only to be let down (no reply etc), I then tried contacting Top Coat and am I glad I did, the guys sorted out the nearside repairing and repainting on my Berlingo, you can't even tell it's been resprayed, I would highly recommend this business, Heath and the guys did a fantastic job at a very good price. WELL DONE TOP COAT, 5 STARS FROM ME ...
This is the second time I've used top coat to prepare my car prior to selling. They did a great job painting 3 panels and polishing out door scratches. Heath had great no nonsense approach and just gets on and does the job at a reasonable cost. I have no hesitation in giving my recommendation.
Great service. Car had been scratched and small dent at drivers front due to car park bump. Was booked in and done in same week, with no evidence of the incident now on my car. Also touched up some bonnet stone scratches
Great service, no hesitation recommending to others.
Heath and the guys were excellent and the repairs and paintwork are superb. I am so pleased with the quality and workmanship and would highly recommend Topcoat to anyone.

I had a long scratch on my near side rear door which had also made a slight indentation. I was aware of Top Coat through other good references, and when I contacted the Company, I was invited to bring it to the garage on the north side of Warrington for assessment. The proprietor told me what we be involved to ensure the resprayed door would blend in with the rest of the car. He provided a quote which was under others I had received and, as I was due to go on holiday in the following week, he was also willing to fit the job in fairly quickly. In addition, he gave me a lift back to my home on the other side of town! The job was completed on time and inspection of the car showed no signs of the damage, and the colour completely matched the rest of the car. Even a couple of small scratches at the front of the car had been touched up, too! I was very pleased with the work done and the price.
