Company bordering on fraud

Company bordering on fraud, they have a pop up that comes up when you are trying to access another app, so you think you have entered your card details for example to pay for parking and actually you have signed up with these scammers. They took 2 payments from my account for 24.99 within 1 month..I have now reported them to my bank.

Frauds. Thieves. Liars.

I keep being charged by this website yet have never ever signed up to any gaming site. They’ve been taking about £25 every fortnight. Asked them repeatedly to cancel it, been assured they have, yet I’m still being charged. I’m a single mum and can’t afford to keep losing money for something I don’t want and didn’t even ask for. So angry. Fraudulent scumbags.

I wanted to install Whatsapp on a…

I wanted to install Whatsapp on a tablet from my phone. I googled "can I install Whatsapp on my tablet". Please use playstore because I installed something that I thought was Whatsapp and ended up with something that looked like Whatsapp and asked me to make a payment of 3 euros and enter my CVC number but would not be charged for this transaction. I was given a QR code which I scanned and it transferred all my contacts onto the tablet and installed Whatsapp. But then got an email from Topgamemix with a password. I went online on a different tablet and found that I was on a gaming and video website which had games and videos. I then scrolled down to the agreement and found that if I did not cancel this agreement then I would be charged £17.99 every 2 weeks for the use of the site. I went into their website settings and found a cancellation box. I did this once and confirmed but it took me back to the main Page. I cancelled it again and it did exactly the same. I realized this could well be a scam so contacted my bank to check my account and there was a payment pending for £2.58p which is the equivalent to 3euros. I ended up speaking with bank security and also MasterCard and explained the situation to them. They said there was a possibility that I may need to pay the £2.58 but they could put a stop on any future payment to the company. Being a pensioner and not having many outgoings I decided that they should give me a new card so that they could not sell on my details to anyone. Be very careful and always use playstore. It's an inconvenience to me but at least I have peace of mind that no further withdrawal can be made from my old card. Got to sit down now and edit all the usual buying sites and edit the card details. New card will be a few days but please be aware of this website TopGameMix.com. they are based in Cyprus. I'm lucky, although 72 years old I have always tried to keep up to scratch and try to recognize scams. Take care and they have a thumbs 👇 from me.
