I wanted a Maglite so I almost went to the usual big internet seller but then thought I'd give one of the smaller companies a go. Picked a really nice one (blue, large) and the price was pretty good. Delivery in about 4 days which was good for me, it's Christmas and things are slower.

And then.... it arrived next morning, less than 24 hours later, very well packed. Fantastic, unexpected service. I'm stunned, I can't recommend Torch Direct enough (and the torch is great too).

Look no further for a fantastic range of products and customer service to match. I needed a new torch and wanted something high quality that will last; after finding Torch Direct via Google I was a bit overwhelmed with the choice. On contacting them via email I received a very prompt, helpful and comprehensive reply from Laura, enabling me to choose a product. On receipt of the product, I had a couple of questions that I wasn't able to determine the answer to in the manual or online. Despite the queries being 'user error', Laura was extremely patient and helpful, again replying promptly, to help me resolve the queries and use the product to its maximum potential.

I get all of my torches from Torch Direct. The Website is clear, with torches grouped into various collections, which you can then filter. There's a wide range of torches available, and delivery is prompt and uses eco packaging. So all in all, full marks.

Its great. I bought a NEBO torch here, its a great we torch for the price. I tested it out when rough camping. It has all and more features than I was looking for. The service was efficient and delivery fast.

We purchased the wrong battery for a torch. I phoned Laura and explained that it wouldn’t re-charge, she quickly deduced the problem and rectified our mistake without question. Her product knowledge and commitment to outstanding customer service puts the business in a class of its own.

Excellent website with good choice and information. Communicative - there was a problem with the item I ordered and it was the last in stock, so they called to explain the issue, and I decided to accept the item regardless of a tiny imperfection. They volunteered a partial refund by way of compensation.
The item I ordered was delivered early the following day.
I later called for information about something else I wanted to order, and they were polite, helpful and very well informed. I simply can't fault them, and would encourage anyone to use them without hesitation.

I have bought quite a bit from Torch Direct over the years and have always found the pricing, product quality, delivery and customer service to be fantastic.

I recently purchased a torch from them which, after receiving, I decided I wanted to have engraved to give as a gift. Normally this is something you should decide when the torch is ordered so that it can be sent out already engraved. Nonetheless they were happy to help me out. The deadline I had for getting it to them and turned around again was tight but shouldn't have been a problem. To cut a long story short, I had an absolute nightmare with the delivery company taking my torch to them (organised by myself not Torch Direct). The parcel arrived way later than it should have done and caused no end of hassle in getting it to the right place (use Royal Mail if you ever have to do this yourself). In the end it arrived late afternoon on Thursday (should have been Monday latest) and by Friday lunchtime I had it back, engraved and ready to wrap up for gifting.

Put simply, if you're in the market for a torch there is nowhere better that I know of in UK. A massive thanks again to Laura and all of the team at Torch Direct, you guys are doing a fantastic job.

I've bought several torches, camping lanterns and head torches over the past few years from Torch Direct.

I keep returning because the prices are good and the delivery is within a couple of days whether bought direct from their website or via their eBay account.

It's always interesting how a company deals with things when things aren't correct: the supplied rechargeable lithium ion battery for a camping lantern I bough recently arrived severely corroded. I emailed a few photos of the corroded battery and Laura at Torch Direct sent out a replacement battery without question.

The torches are priced very well. I’ve bought a couple of olight torches and for the price they cannot be beaten.

I have had both engraved which is done clearly and precisely. The writing appears a white/silvery finish which surprised me as I was expecting a very silvery finish of the metal to show through. I actually quite like this as it matches the writing colour on the rest of the torch.

I’ve sent a few emails over the last few weeks which have all been answered promptly and fully. Phone calls again are answered quickly with good knowledge of what they sell. I had a specific query about a filter lens and the gentleman was only too happy to spend time trying to find one that fitted.

I did have one small issue receiving a battery with a lower capacity than advertised. This was dealt with very quickly with an apology and a full refund while still allowing me to keep the battery. Very impressed.

Very professional and knowledgable team, helpful even after sale. Huge selection of torches at great prices.

Superb customer service. My head torch developed a fault after the initial 12 month suppliers warranty period so Laura provided me with both the returns form to Nitecore and even a copy invoice from my original purchase from Torch direct.
Nitecore replaced the torch under their 5 year manufactures warranty.
Service like this is rare these days, I recommend both Torch direct and Nitecore. Thank you.

Helpful before purchase advice; super quick delivery within 1 day as promised, followed by very efficient returns assistance from Laura. When I communicated that I had decided not to return the items, I also suggested that a steer on which courier companies might carry Li-ion batteries could be helpful for customers. Given the difficulties with regard to recommending couriers, Laura was still very positive and in the future hopes to give a pointer for customers who wish to return Li-ion batteries.
