I am a Spain-based parent of someone who is about to start studying in the UK, so I need a currency transfer service I can trust to be fair, fast, trustworthy, and with TorFX I think I have found it.

Fast, friendly (by telephone), seamless and reliable.

Sam Kornik was very supportive and guided me via every stage -right from the account activation process to the first Transfer. The rate was good. Recommend Sam and TorFx.

Were good but their rates are little better than the high street banks sadly. Recommend go elsewhere. But if you have a large transfer, want good customer service and someone trustworthy - go for it. Used them for 15 years.

We moved to the UK from Canada 7 years ago. In that time, we have used TorFx for all of our currency exchange needs. We need to send funds back and forth several times a year, and they are always incredible fast and provide rates that are much better than any of the banks or currency businesses. Plus, our rep, Adam Solomon is just a real pleasure to deal with. I can't recommend them any higher.

I am in the process of transferring money from UK to Spain with TorFX. I have been dealing with them for some time without complaint. However, now that I'm in the process of transferring a substantial quantity of money, which all reviews say TorFX is very good for. I find that after agreeing (my own stupid fault) to lock in to a contract with them to transfer the money the rate I have agreed to is 13000 - 16000 euros less than the competition. I find the word competition doesn't describe this situation because the competition doesn't really have to compete if the difference is so huge. The idea that TorFX is one of the best for larger quantities is , in my case , totally untrue since the other companies in this industry are offering substantially higher rates. I understand that it is my own stupid fault for agreeing to lock in to the contract before once again shopping around. I had shopped around last year and that was why I settled on TorFX but it appears that in times of volatility that TorFCX has decided to not offer competitive rates as they did before.
It is a case of buyer beware constantly.

I’m a first time user of a currency exchange service and was a bit nervous about committing large amounts of money to internet exchanges. (I needed to convert £25k to € to pay for our holiday of a lifetime and clearly wanted the best possible exchange rate). From the initial contact TorFX were very helpful and supportive, they appointed a dedicated Client Executive who helped me set up an account and guided me through the initial transfers. He has always been immediately available by phone anytime I needed assistance. Definitely a 5* experience.

I first used TORFX around 2 years ago to make an International money transfer, my Account Manager Adam was so very understanding and truly very professional. My recent transaction was a little more complicated, however Adam and his support team, ensured we could secure the best available Exchange rate. The actual transfers went through so quickly, absolute far better service than many Bank Branch could achieve. There are NO FEES involved, just a FIRST CLASS professional service. They will call you if needed to clarify any potential issue. They LISTEN to what their client wishes and, give excellent advice and support. I want to award 20 Stars to this business.
