Delay after delay

Constantly getting emails recently just telling me that my orders are delayed. I understand somethings are out of their control but it’s just been one thing after another. If you can’t deliver for a certain date, don’t offer it. Just be honest! It’s forced me to try an alternative supplier for cards now (Chaos cards). Let’s hope things get more punctual again soon

2 pre-orders and they are not…

2 pre-orders and they are not dispatched the day of release. If i'm pre-ordering I should be getting it on the day of release and it should not still be stuck at processing. Dreadful company and so much worse then other websites such as chaos cards and magic madhouse

Not Received Anything Yet

Fed up with companies asking for reviews before the order has been sent out. How am I meant to review not having received my order yet?

So far I ordered on Sunday and they took my money. It's four days later and I've not even had an order confirmation email yet. There has been no dispatch or any delivery information.

We apologise for the review request email arriving before your order. This email is automatically sent a few days after your order is supposed to arrive, but it does not account for any courier delays.

I have looked into your case and can see that your order arrived shortly after you submitted this review. We hope you have enjoyed your purchase. Regarding shipping, your order was placed on Sunday, and unfortunately, the courier does not pick up on Sundays. It was shipped the following day.

We also apologise for the lack of an email confirmation. We recently switched to a new email provider to ensure smoother communication, and all orders now receive confirmation emails.

We are sorry that this order did not meet your expectations and hope you will give us another chance to provide the 5-star experience we strive for.

Very Disappointing Experience

I pre-ordered and paid up front for a Gundam figure back in November 2022, almost 10 months later I have still not received what I purchased. I got in touch several times in this period and while the staff were very friendly (Ryan in particular was great) I was told the same thing every time. They cited supplier issues and could give no estimate for when I would receive my item.

After browsing Trustpilot reviews I found that someone else had a near identical experience although they waited 2 years! They had the same lack of communication from the company and the exact same excuse of supplier issues.

I would not recommend anyone pre-order from this company as I do not think they understand how the agreement should work, they should only sell stock that they have already been allocated. Instead it feels like they accept your pre-order and then worry about where to get stock from. Although in my case, and others, there seems to have been no urgency whatsoever and they appear happy to let my funds sit in their account.

When I have had similar experiences with other companies, they have definitely made more of an effort to put things right.

When getting in touch the only resolution they could offer was to say they could refund my order. That would be great but in the time since I originally purchased inflation has skyrocketed and the same item cost £10 extra elsewhere. I made a reasonable request to maybe get some kind of store credit to make up the difference and make up for the poor experience I have had. Unfortunately the best the managers here could do was offer £2.50 in points.

Again no issue with the customer service staff I spoke to but I do have an issue with how the business runs and how the managers treat customer complaints. I will probably never use them again.

The staff are really helpful

The staff are really helpful, accommodating and kind.

I had an issue with my order in which I got sent a common instead of a secret rare and the response time was fast and the communication during the period was excellent. Staff were pleasant and helpful and said they'd refund the error (the person I was in contact with was Ryan).

The delivery time for the cards was also fast as well and despite the mistake, my experience with Total Cards was very pleasant I definitely recommend the company :)
