The driver Itzik was very friendly and also knew a lot about the history of Israel! The guide Omer did both my excursions and was very good! He knew a lot and showed me Israel! It felt like coming home and will definitely go back to Israel soon!

BEWARE! Do NOTbook with this company! The last interaction you'd have with them is when they TAKE YOUR MONEY! Afterwards, silence... No tour, AND, no refund, either!!!

I booked a trip to Israel with Tourist Israel which was to take place from June 10-24, 2025. I secured my trip with a deposit for the 7 people in my party.
On November 10, 2024, I wrote to Tourist Israel to cancel the trip because my party of 7 was concerned about the situation in Israel and potential modifications of the tour. Tourist Israel acknowledged my cancellation and advised me it could take up to 14 business days before I received my refund. After the expiration of the 14 business days, I again wrote to Tourist Israel and they advised me that they would check with accounting and get back to me.That is the last I heard from Tourist Israel. Tourist Israel’s published cancellation policy states that a full refund of a deposit, less 5% will be given if the cancellation takes place at least 4 weeks before the trip. My cancellation took place approximately 7 months before the trip. I have met all the requirements for the return of my deposit of $12,608, less the 5% deduction. Since Tourist Israel is no longer responding to me, I have no idea what is going on. I have written several times to ascertain what is going on, to get a firm date when I would receive my refund, but to no avail. I had a good experience booking, but not in getting my refund. I would like to avoid taking additional steps if they would only respond to me and give me my refund. This experience has made me conclude that Tourist Israel’s advertising of “easy cancellation “ is false.

I have read Tourist Israel’s response to my review. Rather, it is a continued non-response. Tourist Israel wrote the following to me in November when I asked for an update on when I would receive a refund of my deposit of $12,608, less 5%:

“Thank you for reaching out, and I sincerely apologize for the delay in processing your refund.

I am currently checking with our accounting team to ensure this is resolved promptly. We completely understand your concern, and I will provide you with an update as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, and I appreciate your kind follow-up.”

I guess that they have real difficulty checking with accounting. I can only imagine what the problem is in receiving the refund to which I am entitled to as a matter of contract as set forth in Tourist Israel’s policies. I will continue to pursue this issue until I receive my refund.

Great service as always - met on arrival and a seamless experience at the airport

Menashe was an excellent guide for the one day private walking tour of Jerusalem. When we first met up, he asked me about what I was most interested in and tailored the tour to suit the goals of my trip and my personal interests. He not only knows the city like the back of his hand, but was able to introduce me to many local people and places that tourists on their own would never have the ability to get to see and experience. The tour was so much more meaningful and informative than I could have imagined and it far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

The tour guide was very experienced and it was also interesting to learn about the historical facts that build on one period of time upon another. Because of the current situation Jerusalem is less crowded and makes the tour more exclusively.

I think this is one of the most beautiful tours I’ve ever been to. The guide was excellent and knew to tell a lot about the history of the places. In my opinion the tour can be spli so there is more time to learn about the individual places

Omer was an amazing guide - knowledgeable, well-spoken, very smart, personable and really, really nice. The destinations were amazing, the van was comfortable, the bus driver, Shreki, was great. Everything was perfect!

The crossing into Palestine was simple both ways.

Horrible HORRIBLE company. I came to Eilat to go to Petra and I was left stranded at the meet up location and could not contact these people I called 6 or more times, left 4 or so voice-mail, and even called the emergency contact in Jordan they had listed for my tour to Petra I booked with them the emergency contact number did not work until I used whats app and then he still didn't answer I then had to text which all he responded with was it has been canceled. I was not notified in any way shape or form. I checked out of my hotel and was scheduled with a tourist Israel to leave this morning for a 2 day 1 night tour and was extatic. I waited and waited with no contact or anything until he texted back. I then had to find last minutes expensive accommodations and find a hotel and get to said hotel with 7 hours before I could check in with lots of luggage. I emailed as well and all Tourist Israel had to say was there weren't enough participants when it stated on the website no minimum amount of participants AND guaranteed departure. Do not book with these people!!! When I got back to my hostel I spoke with the owner at the front desk who told me she had 3 couples leave today for Petra because I was not notified of my cancelation I am now not able to go and this is infuriating.
