I’ve drawn on Paul’s expertise twice in the last twelve months. Each time was an appraisal of prospective houses needing damp and timber works. I didn’t make either purchase in the end, but I can tell... See more

The work carried out was done on time and to budget. The contractors were as neat and tidy as possible, given the nature of a lot of the work, and this is a really nice company to deal with!

Remediation of Damp in Georgian Building

Timsbury Preservation Services have a great team. Good and detailed assessment of the issues with a price estimate. Respect that they were dealing with a Georgian Building repair with all of the complications. Showed flexibility with a 3rd party in terms of accelerating the timeline to complete the work and fitting in with their schedule. Very good quality workmanship, tidy and environmentally respectful, removed rubble quickly and efficiently. Team works very hard! Would work with the team again.

Poor response to disappointed customer

Firstly, this company is not located in the US.

The work was completed to an almost but not quite satisfactory standard. On contacting them to see about sorting out the issues, I was met with nothing but denial, defensiveness and an email that came over to me as pretty aggressive. All that would have been needed was for somebody to pop round, take a look and perhaps offer to skim over the plasterwork to make it good. Pity really. Didn't need to come to this.

Dear Sue

Thank you for taking your time to leave feedback for us and accept my apologies for the delay in response. Our company has only just registered on trust pilot where your feedback has become available to us.

We take great pride in providing the best possible service to all of our clients before, during and after any treatments.

I responded to your initial email at the time and offered to visit site with yourself and the subcontracted plasterer to inspect and repair any defective plaster work, you refused this offer and demanded a discount. At that stage I did not deny anything. I can only be sorry that you have construed my email to be aggressive. I have read back through emails to assure myself It was an apropriate response to which I am happy.

I can only hope that with some time passing you are now able to appreciate the great job done by everyone involved in rectifying your damp issues.

Best Regards
Paul
