I have now bought 2 second hand cars from tradecars both under the £500 both in good condition heard some bad reviews but that's down to the customers really check what you are buying like you would anywhere else. Likening said dont go with big expectations but all my cars have always worked and if you ask questions they normally give you a good answer

I bought a car on Sunday, drove it home and noticed there was a stone chip in the windscreen, couldn’t drive back as they were closed, the next day I drive the car on the M1 back to the north and a tyre exploded, thank god I managed to get it on the hard shoulder, changed to the spare and drove it back home, anyway, the tyre shop said all tyres were old and not road worthy, after you pump it with air, it goes flat. I also checked with a windscreen shop about the chip and they said it’s been repaired and it will look broken for the rest of its life as the person who’s repaired it wasn’t a professional, anyway I took the car back to the dealers and they said “I damaged the windscreen and I repaired it” they refused to take responsibility, and the tyres were “in driving condition” I showed them the damage and I showed them the tyre which exploded the previous night and they said “yeah it looks not good” and when I asked what are you gonna do about it? They said “well the person who sold you the car isn’t here today, so you will have to come other day” I said the tyres were not road worthy, they said “come back tomorrow”, on my way back home the other front drivers tyre exploded and I had to ring the RAC for recovery, and when I got back home I bought a new set of tyres. So what a disgrace of after sales service. And by the way, when I was phoning them, the guy who cleans the cars picked up saying “there are no sales people and they’re all off today” then he said “he will ring someone and get back to me” 2 hours later I phoned back and he said “he couldn’t get anybody to pick up” then when I drove over there, he said nobody is here and et voila, somebody was there who also refused to take responsibility, avoid at all costs! What a shame!
