Ticket prices not explained
Been on the tramway many times as we like to support local businesses and take relatives. On the tram when they visit Devon. But recently when purchasing tickets at the tram station we were disappointed by the customer service.
Firstly the lady did not mention what the cheapest option would be as apparently the explorer tickets are cheaper than just one return ticket, which makes no sense.
Then a donation was added to the ticket prices on all 4 tickets without asking.
When I queried this she then removed the donation from the ticket price, or so I thought.
It was only after we had been on the tram that I noticed on the receipt 2 tickets had no donation but the other 2 tickets I had been charged a donation.
Perhaps staff need further training on more transparency of tickets prices so customers can make their own choices rather than having it made for them
