my daughter was coming home from work…

my daughter was coming home from work as a nurse . the weather was atrocious. blank ice no sand down or grit. slowly coming towards traffic lights. brakes in time. but the car just keeps going forwards. went over the lights about a couple of feet. police were behind her. a very young and horrible cop rips in to her. my daughter is in tears. a older woman git out and took over. gave my daughter a fine which she paid. but not the dirty rotten transportstyrelsen have taken her driving licence away. she only hay 6 weeks left of her 2 year probation licence. she needed that licence for her job with handicapped children plus help her mum. its a absolut joke. her handläggare was a absolut pug as well. rant over. she now has to wait 2 months to retake it. I hope you sleep well ... ....... ..... had my daughter paper today. First the police report stated the weather was fine and good driving condition. complete lie we contacted smhi today it stated red stom warning especially for ice. second my wife freind who works at skellefteå police station says iff the driving offence was that bad they would have taken the licence straight away and not just given a fine. he is going to help uss with this and we are going to the station tomorrow for a meeting. we are going to appeal this decision as lies have been told by the police involved which has probably affected the decision. I am totally disappointed and angry by all concerned in this.

Incompetent and greedy company with outdated practices, just trying to take money from people

I have recently bought a company car in Sweden. Since I am not from Sweden, I never heard of Trängelskatt, nor did anyone tell me about it when purchasing the vehicle.

Today I received an invoice for 522 SEK from Transportstyrelsen, 22 SEK for the Trängelskatt and 500 SEK fee for not paying in October.

I never received a letter or email in October or prior, or phone call or a goddamn pigeon with the first invoice of 22 SEK, which I would be happy to pay. Even twice! It is 22 SEK for crying out loud, it is pennies.

I called Transportstyrelsen and informed them that I have never received the invoice for 22 SEK, nor could I see anything in the Transportstyrelsen app. Nor did I get a second reminder (which all companies do where I am from, in cases like this where the first letter is lost by the post office)

Transportstyrelsen told me that they only send out 1 invoice in September and that is it, after it is a fine of 500 SEK. This seems so unfair on so many levels I can't even...

First of all, it is not my fault that Transportstyrelsen chooses to send their post via snail mail Postnord - the worst post service on the planet, unreliable and slow.

Second of all, it is not my fault that Transportstyrelsen still chooses to send important information via post in general, are we in the 18th century? Next time send it with a pigeon if you want to be this old school...

And lastly, it is NOT my fault that Transportstyrelsen's online service does not work for companies! We live in the 21st century, with internet. I would have happily sign in online and see any outstanding fees I need to pay right away. Or send an email! Or give me a call! Save the trees and precious paper and waste!

Anyway, I am out 500 SEK due to a small bill of 22 SEK and incompetence of 2 companies involved that are just trying to take money out of honest hard working people and small business owners.

I kindly ask Transportstyrelsen to own up to their mistakes, that are threefold as described above, and pardon this 500SEK fee.
And since I have already paid it (after a call that went nowhere with Transportstyrelsen's customer service) pay this 500SEK back to me.

PS.: Also, whenever Transportstyrelsen sends you any money back, for example left over taxes (that are paid a year ahead) when you sell a car, Transportstyrelsen sends it via a check (a little orange paper you can cash in in certain spots like Willies etc.)
Every cash-in (actually getting the money out, the money that is yours) of this check costs around 35SEK that are deducted from the sum written on the check.

So you are essentially paying a fee from your own money! Once again, for their own incompetence - not being able to send money via bank transfer back to your bank account, the very same bank account the money was paid out from in the first place!

Completely uneffecient place and waste of tax money

My son passed his license 3 weeks ago but he doesn't have a valid id therefor I called transportstyrelsen the same day he passed the test to get a permission so I could pick it up instead. So they sent it to me (snailmail), I filled it in and sent it back immediately. After one week I called to see when I would get it back since the driver's license was now waiting at the local post office. I was told it would take 1-2 months!!! (which of course they should have told me when I ordered it) and the only other way to get it is to go to their office about 220 km away from me. So I went to my post office and I told them to send it back to Transportstyrelsen. After several days called again and asked what is happening. The license is back at transportstyrelsen but even after several days it's not in the "special place" yet where it can be picked up (which is also naturally only open between 10-12) and they don't know when it will be and there's no one to talk to that do know.

And before I managed to get hold of Transportstyrelsen on phone to ask when I would get the permission back I emailed them. Today I get a response telling me that the driver's license is on it's way back to me so now I have no idea where the license actually is and Transportstyrelsen dosen't seem to know either. They have no clue on what they're doing. They need help.

The site is a mess

The site is a mess, it desperately need some love.
They carry a rather large importance for many where information is crucial, but the seem to be persistent to simplify the actual information and cross linking between articles of no relevance.

Paying back taxes

I was living in sweden. But i moved back to Holland. So I exported my two cars.
To pay back the taxes they gave swedbank order to pay back. But they are sending it to my former address. I was not living there anymore.
So I have asked transportstyrelsen to change this. They were telling me that I have to contact Swedbank to change this.... How can it be possible that I have to change their order to swedbank... They are walking away from their responsabilities...

Sweden extortion mafia

Sweden extortion mafia
I was in Sweden in march just before COVID-19 and passed maby 100 cameras on my trip in 3 days. 2 Months later i received a trængselsafgift on 36SEK but I recived the letter too late for me to be able too pay it on time. I payed it the same day. 1 Month later i recived another one on 500SEK because I missed the first payment date. They printed out the 2.bill after I had allready paid the first one. I contacted them and they said i Quote: "We dont care if you recived the letter to late that is not our problem. It is written in the Swedish law that if you miss the payment date you have to pay 500SEK. And that it was me that should know about the rules before going to sweden.
