Hard to recieve money for a claim
I used them to insurepur trip in January. We had a late start due to illness and costs associated woth the flight change. I submitted my claim the first week of February. I have submitted and resubmitted all docs multiple times. Each time I call they say they are missing docs and will probably only reimburse half. It has been 6 months ofnthis back and forth. Buying a policy is easy but recieving money for a claim is not.

Small claim wrongfully denied!
Insurance is worthless when claims are wrongfully denied. On our 3rd policy with this company, we had a small claim that is clearly covered (our travel agent agrees) but which was denied. We have 1 more upcoming policy (of about $5k) which I now regret- wish I’d selected another insurer!! As a retired lawyer I am very familiar with contract law. Bottom line, based on this, I feel money is wasted purchasing with Travel Insured!!!

COMPANY WILL NOT PAY CLAIMS
I have used this company at least 15 to 20 times and have never had to make a claim. Four months ago, I had to cancel 2 cruises since I was in the hospital and then I was on 6 weeks of daily IV antibiotics. I send in the paperwork for my claim, did not hear anything for a few weeks. Then received email stating they received my claim and were working on it. About 3 weeks later I received an email wanting more information. I sent that in. Weeks later, I received another email requesting the same information. Do not use this company, they are no different than any other insurance company, delay, delay, delay. Do not even return calls. I understand if I was trying to cheat, but I was in the hospital, unable to walk with tubes running out of me. Still waiting for money.

Luckily we didn't have to put the insurance to work. I felt very confident because a year ago Oct 2024 I got a back injury just weeks before a cruise and had to use the protection. I was recived at least 90% of my whole investment. That was great thanks. Will use your protection again in the future.
