Good user friendly booking system online. However, although I had references for each stage, I did not have the name of the company doing the transfers. I did not receive any notification of my return transfer and neither did my hotel, which caused some anxiety!! I was very disappointed after phoning Travel Republic and kept on hold for 30 mins a time, that I was unable to speak to anyone.

They Can No Longer Be Trusted. Hence the reason being they will no longer even COMMUNICATE.
SERIOUSLY >> WHO in their right minds is going to give £2000-£3000 to a So called Travel Agency that will NOT COMMUNICATE . You may end up thousands out of pocket and no holiday. IF you are mad enough to still trust them , then pay with a CREDIT CARD . That way your bank will help you recover your money if it goes AWOL in an offshore bank account. BEWARE FOLKS !
They are no longer what they used to be nor as reliable.

Booked package holiday taxi did not turn up they wouldn't answer phone charged £97 for the taxi yet it was only £19 private taxi . They never answered my calls or emails not happy

I have spent hours this week trying to get hold of their customer service department. I need to amend the spelling of my Daughters name on our booking ahead of our trip in March.

So far today I have been on hold on and off for over 3 hours. I finally got through to a lady who then put me on hold for a further 30 minutes. I eventually dropped off.

I spoke to someone before Christmas who advised me to email and request the update to the name change which I did. To date, STILL no reply or update.

I am now panicking and honestly do not know what to do.

Think twice before booking with this company.

I recently booked through Travel Republic and had a smooth experience from start to finish.
The website was easy to navigate, options were clearly laid out, and the booking process was straightforward.
I particularly appreciated the flexibility to pay in instalments, which made planning and budgeting much easier.
Communication was timely, and support was helpful when needed.
Overall, a reliable, user-friendly service.

Terrible experience with Travel Republic. I've used a lot of firms and this one is by far the worst. My package flight to Dubai was nearly 6k and they gave no advice on booking seats so I had to pay extra to have my family sitting with me by registering directly with Emirates. Then they stated our kids would be included for all inclusive and could eat whenever they wanted as part of the package we booked and it simply wasnt true. They refused to contact the hotel or honour the deal they agreed to (and I paid for). Lastly, the transfer was absolutely shocking. £140 for a 40 min journey that costs £20 in an uber? And they didnt even book the right transport for us. Absolutely shocking. Just like all the other negative reviews, there was no feedback from them despite multiple requests for a formal complaint process. Their registered office is not far from me so perhaps I'll actually drive there and speak to someone in person - they won't be able to ignore me then. Keep watching for an update once I've made an official complaint!

My stay at Hotel Playa Real / Chatur Playa Real Resort, booked through Travel Republic, was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.
The reception and customer service staff were hostile, unprofessional, and completely unwilling to help. Legitimate complaints were dismissed without explanation, accountability, or apology. Their behaviour showed a serious lack of training and basic courtesy, making it clear that guest satisfaction is not a priority at this hotel.

The condition of the room was unacceptable. On arrival, the beds had no sheets, exposing dirty, stained mattresses, posing a serious hygiene and health risk. The sofa bed was broken and unusable, despite being advertised and paid for as part of the room facilities. This amounts to false representation and poor maintenance.

Overall cleanliness was far below acceptable standards. The bathroom and living areas were dirty, poorly maintained, and showed signs of long-term neglect.
What makes this experience even worse is Travel Republic’s failure as the booking agency. This property should not be advertised or sold in this condition. Travel Republic has a responsibility to properly vet the accommodation they promote, and in this case they failed completely.

This hotel fails at the most basic level of hospitality: clean bedding, functional furniture, and respectful customer service. Staying here was a mistake, and booking it through Travel Republic only added to the disappointment. I would never return and strongly advise others to avoid both this hotel and this agency.

The agency was helpless. They didn’t bother I much to help us out they took the side of the hotel. Avoid avoid avoid. Hotel and the agency.

I had a very poor experience with this company and was unable to contact anyone there.
My hotel informed me that this was unrelated to the booking. The hotel room was incorrectly booked and I am required to pay an additional fee to be changed. I called them - no answer!
I have sent an email but have not received a response.
I was completely ignored. If you are willing to take this risk and book with this company you will not be able to reach anyone for assistance, particularly on weekends. Furthermore if you encounter any issues you will be responsible for the costs as the company does not seem to care.

We booked with Travel Republic for a stay at Sunrise Arabian Beach Resort, our favourite hotel in Sharm, where Ala-carte meals are included at various restaurants throughout your stay. However Travel Republic screwed this up and then forgot to let us know prior to travelling. They arranged transfer from airport with instructions to take us to their hotel, only he was not visible when we came out. We therefore took a cab to the Sunrise, only to find out we had no booking with them. 15 minutes later our driver phoned the hotel to announce he would collect us from Sunrise and take us to or hotel ? This we discovered was the Savoy hotel Sharm el Sheikh, definitely not Savoy London. We have stayed their previously but deliberately chose not to book their again. It is to busy with insufficient amenities for the numbers there. Dining rooms are over subscribed and chaotic at times.
We were notified at lunchtime that a representative from Sun International had been waiting for us for over an hour, the first we had heard of it !
We were at this point advised a fall out between Sun International and Sunrise and Travel Republic being made aware of issues over a week previously. They not only ignored this but failed to tell me when i contacted them a few days before travel to say our hotel were not in receipt of our booking, We were given another hotel booking reference number but for we were told the same hotel. Their agent in Sharm advised us to make the most of our stay and complain upon our return. A Bunch of Amateurs.
Arrogant with it as they fobbed us off upon our return telling us we should have rung them from Egypt. They ought to try contacting their offices as it can take forever to find somebody to answer the phone.

Sorry to say I’ve had the first bad experience with Travel Republic
The Hotel I booked and paid for in Doha (November 2025) told me I had no booking on arrival, I tried to contact TR but could not get through.
Had to book through another agency (another £1600), TR sent apologies email stating the local agent had submitted wrong guest name.
Subsequent emails have not brought a refund. I have used TR in the past without issues.

Complete Package booked,easy to use, very simple and good experience

The end product is excellent but the website is obstructive and unhelpful, especially when it tells one to phone your helpline and it is just not available.

I Had to cancel a booked holiday due to unforeseen circumstances. It was very easy to do and received a full refund. No quibble whatsoever. Very impressed with the service. I have used this company before and found them to be reliable and trustworthy.

HAVE USED TRAVEL REPUBLIC FOR MANY YEARS, NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS, AND WILL CONTINUE TO USE IT IN THE FUTURE
