Travel Stay Refunded When the Hotel Failed to

Travel Stay stepped in to resolve what can only be described as accounting incompetence by the hotel that I booked directly from the hotel web site. While the hotel was not responsive, Travel Stay used their own funds to correct my position.

Non existent customer service…

Site has booked me in to different dates and requests. I have tried to speak to them but keep getting cut off whilst still in the queue. I am now seemingly stuck with a non refundable booking that I cannot use.

Sent in form, followed up with email, called the office... no answer to any. Don't bother wasting your time.

Supportive and Sincere

I had trouble modifying my booking which caused a complication for my accommodation. Max called me later on and was able to assist me in resolving the matter. Max was sincere and attentive in resolving the matter.

Should you have any problems contacting TravelStay, my personal advice would be to try and contact Max using the customercare email you'll be able to find in prior reviews.

Very strange motel rental system

Very strange motel rental system. I had to pay a £ 20 deposit and was informed that I would receive the money when I move out. It did not happen. When I was moving out, I heard the information that I would receive a refund on the card next Friday. Of course, I didn't get a refund all the time. Besides, no one has checked my room on checkout so what was the purpose of this deposit ?? I have never encountered a situation in a motel where someone demands a deposit. At the reception, some people informed me that maybe I would like to take the TV out and that is as a precaution. It's just that it's all kind of ridiculous. The room only had a bed and that wretched TV that didn't work😬 and a tiny cupboard. I don't know who would want to take anything from such a place. 👀👀

Rubbish experience !!!!!

I wish I could give them -1 star
I made two bookings through travel stay and i cancelled it before time and I was expecting my refund back to me in 5-7 days. After 8 days I tried to call them and they keep telling me you need to email at customercare and took my details 4 times and told me that someone will contact you shortly . It's been 2 days now and no one bother to respond me neither via phone call or nor through email.
Customer service was also rubbish they don't know what to tell me.
I am still waiting for response

Fantastic!!!

Cheapest and best place to book your hotel experience. Easy to use website. Simple layout and plenty of discounts!!! Very nice staff in Customer service if you need to get in touch. Recommend for everyone :)

Something happened, but resolved

We have booked through TravelStay for a room at The Lawn Guest House, London.

There was some confusion between the TravelStay and the hotel about payment.

Send inquiry to TravelStay, but only got an automatic standard email reply asking us to deal with the hotel.

Followup : surprised that I received a call from Travelstay. They promised to refund the overcharged deposit and breakfast, and check out what happened with the hotel. I am happily waiting. But update if there is any result.

TRAVELSTAY-AFFORDABLE ACCOMMODATION

This is such an extremely professional company with great deals. I, personally have always found accommodation for under £40 with a private bathroom! Would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for affordable accommodation. They also go out of their way to find the right deal for you if you call them and book over the phone. Try them - you won't be disappointed!

Awful experience with travelstay.com

Awful experience with travelstay.com - booked a hostel with them a month ago, the morning we are meant to be staying there we get an EMAIL to say they have double booked us and our booking had been cancelled. We then rang travelstay who said they would help us find a new hostel as we had nowhere to stay in London that night and everywhere was booked! Did they ring us back like promised - NO! We then find a last minute booking with them ourselves at another hostel which is confirmed via email. We turn up that evening and they did not have our booking. We were told that travelstay has been double booking them aswell! We had booked 2 private twin rooms and after alot of searching the lovely receptionists managed to find us 3 spare beds in an 8 bed mixed dorm. Extremely disappointed with travelstay.com - would tell everyone to stay away if you want to gamble with having a place to stay!
