Mary was patient, tactful and very helpful! She gave me a sense that Trawick is a good company to have chosen for my insurance. I was quite impressed!

Simple process and reasonable rates.

Our flight to Seattle was canceled the day of flightt so we scrambled and found another flight 5 1 /2 hrs away in Philidelphia. Ended up getting to our motel in seattle at 12:10 am instead of 1 pm the day before our cruise. Each ticket was $370 dollars more and parking was $288 ea for 2 vehicles as there were 6 people in our group. Thought we were covered through Tarwick insurance but to our surprise they covered $0. Beware of this travel Insurance. Co!!! They go out of their way to find excuses not to pay claims. They only want to collect!!! So Tarwick wanted more information on my travel claim. The day we were to leave to catch our flight started at 3:30 am in order to get everything and everybody around to head to the airport for flight to Seattle with a layover in Chicargo. At 3:50 am i recieved a e_mail from Southwest airline. It read your flight has been delayed. Ok not a big deal until they told us it was rescheduled for Aug. 12th
Well that didn't work for us as our cruise to alaska was scheduled for the next day the 11th. We called then right away and they checked and had no flights for us until the 12th and there was nothing they could do. So in panic mode we started calling airports around the area and after about an hour we ended up buying tickets from Philadelphia to Atlanta then to seattle. That flight was to leave around 5 pm. So we all got in 2 vehicles and drove 5. 1/2 hours to catch that flight. We made it there with time to spare. Flight to Atlanta then to seattle went smoothly. We arrived in Seattle a little after midnight . The original flight was scheduled to arrive late morning in seattle. Also each airline tickets v was $370 more so that was a considerable extra expense. Also we had to pay parking in Philidelphia for the week at $288 for each of our 2 vehicles. Also had fuel expenses each way along with meal expenses. We did get a refund from Soutwest for original price of tickets. We filed a claim through Southwet but were denied. So we expected our travel insurance through Tarwick would cover the extra expenses we accrued. To our surprise we were denied the claim we submitted. Not to mention it was a very difficult process to file the claim and get the documents they required. To say I was diaappointed would be an understatement. I thought all along we we covered that is why we purchase insurance. We did our home work aand Tarwick had good reviews. I certainly did not and will not give them a good review. As a matter of fact my review would be a 0 out of ten. Buyers beware of this company. Seems like they want you to buy their insurance but don't want to be bothered with a claim. VERY UNSATISFIED WITH TARWICK!!!!

Communication and service was excellent

This review is for David H’s great performance. He works as a customer service representative for Surego, the company managing claims for Trawick. Through David’s comprehensive guidance on what documents I needed, was able to submit the claim via e-mail, as their online submission system was giving a fetch failure message. Michelle, a second representative also helped. Got claim adjudicated quite fast after having provided all needed documents, lots of them by the way - recommend that whomever submits a claim be very organized to make the life of the claim examiner easier. Thank you, David H!

Always and easy experience and so far haven't had to use, but trust the are as good as paying out as they are selling.

Everything went smoothly. I have the coverage I may need. Very reasonable!

I bought travel insurance underwritten by Trawick. My return trip was canceled by the airline due to the war in the middle east. I stated this while claiming for compensation. My claim was denied that war is not covered. What if I didn't use the word war? This company is a rip off. Stay away.

Update: I have contacted the "Reviews" department with my policy and claim as instructed on the response from Trawick.
